Join us for our Blues Rock Music Camp as we explore the early influencers like Muddy Waters and the blues rock artists that came to built the foundation of rock music.
The Blues had a baby and they named it Rock and Roll. The British Invasion bands like the Rolling Stones (who are named after a Muddy Waters song) took the Blues and turned them up to 11. Campers will learn the importance of the Blues and explore the music of Howlin Wolf, Bo Diddley, Big Mama Thornton and many others, as well as many of the rock bands that they influenced. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
