Come play hits from the 80s by learning songs from artists like Billy Idol, Devo, Cyndi Lauper, Van Halen and much more in our 80s music camp
CAMP DESCRIPTION
Campers will learn the music of 80s rock icons such as Guns N' Roses, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Journey and more in our Classic Rock Rewind summer camp. In addition to songs, students will learn about rock history and the stagecraft needed to perform on a stage. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 11-17 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day
- Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
- On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week! The performance begins at 1:00pm.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection. At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 30 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 29 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.
