Please join us in cheering on our Performance Program students as they take us on a journey by paying tribute to Arena Rock!
Arena Rock is hard to define as a single genre, but the Arena Rock Show at School of Rock is a mix of catchy, loud music perfect for air-guitar and air-drumming. In the '70s, as FM radio grew, bands began performing in larger venues to match their expanding fanbases. This show features bands like Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Kansas, Meat Loaf, Foreigner, Toto, Pat Benatar, and Cheap Trick. The songs are the real stars, and anyone who’s experienced them live will agree. Guitarists will face challenging riffs, keyboard players will be in the spotlight, vocalists will tackle powerful leads and harmonies, drummers will master bombastic performances, and bass players will explore melodic lines. This show is a great fit for all instruments!
Below are the times for all other performances that day!
Bowie - 3:30 pm
Prog Rock - 2:00 pm
