In this special 5-day music camp, students will analyze some of the greatest compositions of the last 60 years and learn how to write their own songs

CAMP DESCRIPTION

Want to learn what it takes to record your own music? During this 5-day camp, students will learn the fundamentals of recording and production that can be applied to any type of home-studio setup. Utilizing powerful and accessible recording technology and gear, students will record, mix, and master songs as a final product to take home. This is a camp for instrumentalists and vocalists 12-18 years of age who have some proficiency on their instrument and are looking to extend into the world of productino and recording. 

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

• Camp runs Monday - Thursday 9am-3pm, and Friday 9a-1pm.
• Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based game & activities
• On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water and hearing protection.

At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
