In this special 5-day music camp, students will explore the music of the world's most popular touring artist. For campers aged 11-18 who can play through songs on their instrument.

CAMP DESCRIPTION

In this 5-day summer camp, students will learn and perform songs of Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift’s impact on music is undeniable, from Country to Indie Rock. Throughout the five days of this music camp, students will learn songs from all stages of Taylor’s career culminating in a live performance. This camp features great opportunities for not only vocalists but for instrumentalists as well.

Monday through Friday will be spent learning and rehearsing songs culminating in a live performance at the end of the week. Great for students age 11 through high school seniors. Please note: All summer campers need to have experience on their instrument. We ask that campers have some fundamentals down and be capable of playing through a song so that we can ensure that the camp week is fun for everyone!

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Camp runs Monday-Thursday 10am-3pm. On Friday, camp starts at 10am and there is a show at the school's venue that starts at 5:30pm. Students should stay at the camp until the end of the performance. The performance will likely be 45 minutes to an hour and a half long depending on the number of campers and how many songs are mastered over the week.

Early drop off at 8am or 9am and/or late pick up at 4pm or 5pm can be arranged for an additional fee. Please contact us to arrange.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. They will forge musical friendships that will extend beyond the camp. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water and hearing protection. Guitarists and bassists should bring their instruments and picks; we will supply the amps and instrument cables. Drummers should bring drum sticks; we will supply drum sets. We will provide keyboards for keyboardists and microphones for singers.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The full cost of the camp is due upon signing up for it.

Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to mason@schoolofrock.com

Refund Policy is as follows:

If School of Rock Mason cancels a camp, a full refund will be made

Cancellation requests received before April 1, 2025 will receive a refund of 100% of tuition collected less a $20 service fee

Cancellation requests received between April 1, 2025 and prior to 21 days of the camp start date will receive a refund of 50% of the payment made.

Cancellation requests received 21 days or less before the camp start date will not be refunded.
