Through this special 5-day songwriting camp, students will learn how to write their own songs! Students will analyze some of the greatest compositions of the last 60 years in order to develop their own tunes. They will learn about chord progressions, arrangements and other tricks of the trade. We’ll spend Monday through Friday learning and writing songs, all culminating in a live performance. This music camp is great for students 7-18 years old who have had previous instruction.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 2pm each day.

Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based game & activities.  We'll break for lunch too!

On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, a re-fillable water bottle and their instruments (if they have one....otherwise they can use ours!). Hearing protection will be provided to all campers.  This camp is designed for intermediate to advanced players with experience, and thus is not suited for beginners.  Give us a call if you're unsure whether your rocker is ready for this camp!
