Come out to see one of the most anticipated concerts of the year! 1000 musicians from across the area will join together to play some of the greatest rock anthems of all time. Not only will members of our House Band and Adult Band take part, but some of our amazing Rock 101 and Performance Program students will be playing! Join us for our 6th Annual Winter Festival! Our students have been working hard since August preparing for this festival. Come check out our Performance Program students in Abba vs Bee Gees, Van Halen, Southern Rock and Radiohead vs. Coldplay. Also taking the stage will be our Rock 101 classes, our House Band as well as both of our Adult Bands. This will also be our first time at NOLA Brewing (3033 Tchoupitoulas New Orleans, LA) December 13 & 14. Doors at 11:30 both days.

School of Rock Talent Shines on The Voice! We’re beyond proud to see one of our own, 14-year-old Vinya Chhabra, rock the stage during The Voice Blind Auditions with an incredible performance of “Ironic” by Alanis Morissette!

October is National Bullying Prevention Month, and at School of Rock, we stand loud and proud against bullying! Music teaches more than just notes and rhythms—it builds confidence, connection, and community. When students rock together, they learn respect, teamwork, and the power of lifting each other up.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month — a time dedicated to educating the public about breast cancer, encouraging early detection, supporting those affected, and funding vital research for improved treatments and prevention. At School of Rock Metairie, we’re proud to add our voices (and music!) to this important cause.
