In this camp, students will gain the core knowledge and understanding of in-studio sound recording and production

WHAT TO EXPECT

Want to learn what it takes to record your own music? During this 5-day camp, students will learn the fundamentals of recording and production that can be applied to any type of home-studio setup.  Using powerful and accessible recording technology and gear, students will record, mix, and master songs as a final product to take home.  This is a camp for instrumentalists and vocalists 12 - 18 years of age who have some proficiency on their instrument and are looking to expand into the world of production and recording.  This camp will work in conjunction with the Songwriting camp to produce and record those campers' songs.

SCHEDULE

• Camps run Monday through Friday, 9:00am-3:00pm. 
• Drop off is no earlier than 5 minutes before the start of the day, and pickup is no later than 5 minutes after day-end. 
• Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities.
• On Friday, campers will work with the Songwriting Campers to put on a show for family and friends and perform the songs they have been working on all week. The showcase will take place at our school and will start promptly at 2:00pm Friday.

WHAT TO BRING

• Campers must bring their own lunch each day, including a re-fillable water bottle. 
• A positive Rock and Roll attitude - ready to have fun!
• Guitarists who have one already should bring their own guitar/bass, as well as extra strings, picks, strap, etc.  Not required - we have them here for those who do not have their own.
• Please bring ear plugs if you have them (or we will provide).

CANCELLATION POLICY

A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 15 days prior to the camp start date.  Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.

NEXT STEPS

Click the above Enroll button to sign up!  Once complete, you will be prompted to sign the waivers on our School Of Rock client portal - Pike 13.  In your Pike 13 account, you can update your child's personal information, view invoices, manage payment info, etc. If you child has any allergies or medication needs, please inform our front desk staff prior to the first day of camp.
