In this special 10 day camp students will analyze some of the greatest compositions of the last 60 years and learn how to write their own songs.

Through this special 10-day songwriting camp, students will learn how to write their own songs. Students will learn about chord progressions, arrangements and other tricks of the trade. We’ll spend Monday through Friday learning and writing songs, all culminating into a fully produced album. Great for students 13-18 years of age who have had previous instruction.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 3:30pm each day
Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
On the last Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational 10-days of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection. 

At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
