In this music camp, 5 to 7-year-old beginners will learn about different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and appreciation.
About the camp
Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns and group playing are all part of this week-long introduction to music. In this music camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation. This camp is designed for 5 to 7-year-old students who have little to no experience with music. This five-day camp runs Monday through Friday with a demonstration by the campers at the end of the last day.
Weekly Schedule:
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 10am - 2pm each day
- Drop off is no earlier than 15 minutes before the start of camp
- Pick up is no later than 15 minutes after camp
- Each day will consist of musical exploration, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
Friday Demonstration:
On Friday, campers will put on a demonstration of what they have learned during the week for family and friends! The showcase will take place at School of Rock NKY and will start promptly at 2:30PM. The demonstration will last approximately 15 minutes.
Cancellation:
Camp enrollment can be canceled for a full refund up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. Contact the school directly to cancel a camp enrollment.
