Jordon
General Manager
Jordon Dold is a drummer, composer, and educator based in Las Vegas, Nevada. He earned his degree in Jazz and African American Music Studies with a concentration in drum set performance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
An experienced and versatile musician, Jordon has performed with a wide range of ensembles—including big bands, jazz quartets, rock and pop groups, and percussion ensembles—and has appeared in various live settings. In addition to his performance career, he spent several years working as an audio and lighting technician in some of Las Vegas’s premier nightclubs, further broadening his understanding of live production and performance environments.
Dedicated to music education, Jordon has taught privately and in institutional settings for many years. He began by offering private lessons from his home studio before expanding into teaching roles at multiple music academies and within the Clark County School District.
Jordon is also an alumnus of The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps, a ten-time world championship-winning ensemble under Drum Corps International. He currently serves as the General Manager at School of Rock NW Las Vegas, where he continues to mentor and inspire the next generation of musicians.
Mackenzie
Studio Coordinator
Mackenzie was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Las Vegas when she was four years old. She has been singing for as long as she can remember, starting with talent shows in first grade and eventually joining the school choir in second grade. Mackenzie started playing guitar in eighth grade, taking lessons at School of Rock for about five years, and was in House Band for two years. Along the way, she learned how to play bass guitar, but mainly focused on guitar.
Mackenzie then went to Las Vegas Academy of the Performing Arts as a Vocal Major. She has played on stage with Green Day twice, once in San Francisco and then again in Los Angeles. When not at School of Rock NW Las Vegas, she is currently going to college to get a bachelor's degree in English. Although she doesn’t know what she wants to do specifically, Mackenzie knows she wants to pursue music for the rest of her life.
Jacob
Guitar Teacher
Jacob is originally from Boulder, Colorado. At the age of seven, he moved overseas with his family and spent his youth living and traveling internationally. Jacob was introduced to the guitar in Mumbai, India at the age of eight. Music has been a wellspring of inspiration for him ever since. During his time at boarding school, Jacob discovered the beauty of writing music and playing in bands. He graduated college with a degree in recording technology as well as graduated from Atlanta Institute of Music & Media in guitar performance. In his early 20s, Jacob performed with a number of metal bands throughout Colorado while writing and recording his solo album.
In 2023, Jacob moved to Las Vegas with the intention of having a positive impact on the younger generation of musicians and continuing to grow as a musician and performer, which includes joining School of Rock NW Las Vegas. He performs with rock & pop bands around the city and continues to study and write music.
Adrian
Guitar Teacher
Adrian found his love for music and guitar at age 12 when he was accidentally placed in a music program. Showing natural gravitation to music, he pursued it from there on by attending the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts as a guitar major. After high school, Adrian served in the United States Marine Corps where he found his love for teaching and performed in his off time.
Adrian returned to Las Vegas and now continues his education by attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas as a Music Education Major and Guitar Performance Major. Adrian has years of teaching experience which includes teaching music to brand-new music students and advanced students. During his off time from teaching at School of Rock NW Las Vegas, he teaches classical guitar, song writes, and performs in smaller events.
Walker
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Walker studied guitar at the Denver School of the Arts and grew up in the School of Rock program. He successfully auditioned for his school's House Band and the AllStars program as a student.
Walker has played onstage with well-known groups and performed at prestigious venues and festivals including Red Rocks Amphitheater and Lollapalooza. He has also toured across the country as a professional guitarist and is a band leader, producer, and songwriter. Walker teaches guitar, bass, vocals, drums, and music production techniques.
Noah
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Noah Stephens was born into a musical family, with his mom, dad, and uncles all being serious musicians. He got his first guitar for Christmas at age 6 and never turned back, playing almost every day from then until now. He has been performing on and off since age 8. Noah started his School of Rock journey at the age of 13 and after one season in the performance program, he auditioned and secured a spot in his school’s House Band. He also used his time at the school to hone not only his guitar skills, but his skills on bass and drums. His goal is to write and record his own music to share with the world. Noah loves to teach and is extremely grateful to have a job where he can share the knowledge he has acquired over the years with young aspiring musicians.
Ryan
Drum Teacher
Ryan is originally from California and his love for the drums started when he was 4 years old. He started taking lessons soon after and studied rudiments and various percussion instruments and styles with backgrounds in jazz, funk, reggae, and rock. In his teen years, Ryan joined the marching band in school. During his junior year of high school, Ryan auditioned and acquired a snare drum spot in the professional drum & bugle corps, The Anaheim Kingsmen. This gave him a deep understanding of rhythms, music composition, and self-discipline. He later taught three high school drum lines for many years and several private students.
Ryan moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2000 to pursue musical options. He played with local bands, co-hosted open mics, and created relationships with recording studios for session work. In 2010 he co-founded the rock band The Roxy Gunn Project (2011 Vegas Rocks Magazine “Stars of Tomorrow Award Winner”), which has become a local and worldwide favorite due to a movie role and soundtrack contribution to the Lionsgate film Road to Hell. He also was the musical arranger for the film. He continued to perform with The Roxy Gunn Project for twelve years playing at major casino showrooms and many stages at The Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas.
In 2017, Ryan co-founded the pop-punk band Crimson Riot, which signed with Die Laughing Records and released their second album, “It Took An Apocalypse” under the label. In 2019, they won the top prize in the Top Golf-sponsored TV show Who Will Rock You, leading to several performances nationwide.
Ryan’s personal experience has led to his teaching success due to the teaching of his two children over the years, which provided them with various career opportunities in the music industry.
Kevin
Drum Teacher
Exploring the world of music since the age of 10, Kevin has been around the Las Vegas block. Kevin has specialized in drums/percussion for most of his life, however, he is also a multi-instrumentalist musician. With prior marching band experience, Kevin was a percussion section leader for his high school band and had played snare and tenor drums during his high school career.
Kevin has been studying music composition at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada, and has found himself performing for a variety of the university’s symphony bands, orchestras, and percussion ensembles. For two years during the Christmas season, Kevin has performed as a toy soldier drummer for the Enchant Las Vegas event at the Las Vegas Ballpark.
Kevin is determined to go beyond just the performance structure and even self-produces his own music, releasing two rock/pop albums. As he enters a new age in his career, Kevin continues to set goals, pursuits, and ambitions within the world of music and entertainment.
RJ
Drums Teacher
RJ Moon’s journey behind the kit began at just eight years old, learning the basics by playing along to his favorite songs and accompanying his sister's guitar playing. What started as simple rhythms quickly evolved into a deep passion for music, leading him to form his first band in early childhood.
During middle and high school, RJ pushed his limits further through the rigorous demands of marching band. It was here that he sharpened his technical skills, discipline, and endurance, embracing the challenge of precise ensemble work and high-energy performances. RJ’s professional career took off with national and international tours alongside Las Vegas bands; Crimson Riot, The Nocturnal Affair, and Dirt Halo. From high-octane punk to atmospheric rock/metal, RJ
adapted his style to mesh into these projects. Pushing his passion further, RJ also picked up the guitar and a microphone to become a seasoned multi-instrumentalist.
Between tours, RJ has dedicated countless hours behind the kit in a wide variety of cover bands that light up Las Vegas venues of varying genres from Classic Rock to Funk. RJ's teaching career began as he joined the roster for Girls Rock Vegas in 2017 - teaching young girls the power and impact of Rock n' Roll.
He then started up private drum lessons from his home and wishes to inspire even more young minds at School of Rock NW Las Vegas!
Will
Drum Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Will is a musician and multi-instrumentalist from Seattle, Washington. With over a decade of music experience, Will loves being able to share skills and knowledge with young musicians starting their journeys.
Will plays drums in several gigging bands throughout the Las Vegas Valley, including ’80s hair-metal tribute Dr. Rock, as well as True Grit, a blues-rock trio. In his free time, Will enjoys producing electronic dance music, DJing, and watching documentaries.
Alyssa
Vocals Teacher
Born and raised in Port St. Lucie, Florida to a family filled with loud loving musicians and teachers, her love for music, teaching, and performing blossomed at a very young age. With the help of her father and siblings, Alyssa developed her skills in vocal performance and picked up the clarinet at age 11. Since then, she has learned many woodwind instruments, keyboard + piano, and ukulele, and has continued to sing as much as she can.
After graduating high school, Alyssa attended and graduated from Southeastern University with a B.A. in Music with an emphasis in vocal performance while also developing her skills as a teacher, instrumental skills, and an even bigger dream to teach music to students. Since graduating, Alyssa has worked to spread the love and joys of music to young students around the country, including those at School of Rock NW Las Vegas. She also continues to grow her own musical techniques alongside her students.
Jenna
Vocals Teacher, Little Wing Teacher, Rookies Teacher
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jenna Wall has been passionate about music for as long as she can remember. Growing up, she spent several years performing with Broadway in the Hood, taking the stage in acclaimed productions like RENT and The Lion King. During her middle school and high school years, Jenna’s love for performing continued to grow as she thrived in choir programs and live performances.
Now, Jenna is thrilled to bring her talent, enthusiasm, and love for music to School of Rock NW Las Vegas. Her greatest hope is to inspire her students the same way music has inspired her—sparking creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of performing.
