Rock 101 camp is for beginners 7-12 years of age. No experience is needed. Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities.

Want to play in a band onstage? Our Rock 101 camp is designed for beginners 7-12 years of age. No experience necessary! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities. Students will learn songs by artists such as the White Stripes, Green Day and Imagine Dragons (song selection will vary by location). Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians. Students will work on songs Monday through Friday and the camp will culminate in a concert at the end of the week for family and friends at School of Rock.

About School of Rock "Rock 101" Camps...

Our Rock101 Camps are 5 days of LEARNING MUSIC, BASIC INSTRUCTION LEADING ULTIMATELY TO PLAYING MUSIC IN A REAL ROCK BAND SETTING, FUN, BONDING and a PERFORMANCE at the school for parents on Friday afternoon! In one week these younger beginners will go from zero to a basic understanding of singing, guitar, drums, bass, and keys and basic music theory. As the week progresses, through group instruction and some one-on-one attention from our all-star instructors, we'll help our campers learn a few songs and be ready to rock them by the end of the week!

This experience is appropriate for kids age 7 - 12 who have a desire to learn coming in. A few lessons at SOR before starting camp wouldn't hurt ;) Ask us about discounted lessons for camp prep!

Cancellation policy

After enrolling, if you need to cancel a camp for any reason, a full refund or credit will be issued for camps cancelled up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. After that time, camp purchases are not refundable.
