"Slay Bellz" 3-Day Winter Camp
This will be a Heavy Metal Music Camp that focuses on the pioneers of Heavy Metal such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and many more! This 3-day camp will feature soaring vocals, shredding guitar, and thundering bass and drums. This camp is great for metal heads 10-17 who have had some previous instruction. Come raise your horns as we salute the Gods of Heavy Metal!
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Wednesday, 9am - 3pm each day
- Drop off is no earlier than 9:00am each day
- Pick up is no later than 3:30pm each day
- Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
Wednesday PERFORMANCE
On Wednesday, campers will put on a show for family and friends and perform the songs they’ve been working on all week. The show will take place at the school at 2pm.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
WHAT TO BRING
- Campers must bring their own (NUT-FREE) lunch, snacks and water bottle each day.
- Please make sure your student wears clothing and footwear suitable and approprate for indoor activity and summer camp.
- Students are expected to bring their own instruments needed for the duration of the camp. We can supply instruments if needed.
- Please note that campers may rotate through and play different instruments throughout the camp, depending on the needs of the group.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Students are not permitted to leave the facility at ANY time on their own, and must be picked up by a parent or guardian at the end of camp.
- Please review the school's Code of Conduct with your child prior to the first day of camp.
- A fully completed and signed waiver is required in order to attend and participate in programs at School of Rock.
- After registering for camp, please sign the required waivers on the School of Rock client portal - Pike13, which you can access from your confirmation email.
PARKING / DROP OFF
Please bring your child inside rather than dropping them off at the street. A parent or guardian must be present to pick up each camper. We are unable to let students leave the building on their own at any time, or to meet you on the street.
LOCATION
Our address is 14765 S Dixie Hwy Miami, FL 33176. We are located right off US1 and 146th in the Publix shopping center.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations up to 45 days prior to the start of camp will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are provided for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the start of camp. In the event that School of Rock must cancel a camp for any reason (such as not enough campers), a full refund will be provided.
