CAMP DESCRIPTION

Our Rookies: Taylor Swift Summer Camp is designed for beginner musicians ages 6-7 who are ready to explore rhythm, melody, and teamwork in a fun, engaging environment. Using Taylor Swift’s biggest hits, campers will learn the basics of singing, rhythm, and playing instruments in a way that’s perfect for young learners.

What to Expect:

• Introduction to Music Basics – Campers will explore different instruments like keyboards, drums, guitar, and their own voices, learning foundational skills through fun, interactive games.
• Sing & Play Taylor’s Hits – Kids will sing and move to songs like Shake It Off, You Belong with Me, and Love Story, developing confidence and stage presence.
• Rhythm & Coordination Activities – Through engaging musical exercises, campers will build rhythm and timing while having a blast.
• Creative Expression – Campers will get crafty with Taylor Swift-inspired activities, from designing their own stage outfits to creating themed artwork.
• Mini Performance – At the end of the week, campers will showcase their newfound skills in a fun, low-pressure performance for family and friends!

No Experience Needed!
This camp is perfect for young beginners—no prior musical experience required! Our supportive instructors will guide each camper as they sing, play, and dance their way through the music of Taylor Swift.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

• Camp runs Monday - Friday, 10am - 1pm each day
• Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
• On Friday, campers will play along with track and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the camp!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.

At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.
