About the Camp
Want to play in a band onstage? Our Rock 101 camp is designed for beginners 7-12 years of age. No experience necessary! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities. Students will learn songs from artists such as the White Stripes, Green Day, and Imagine Dragons (song selection will vary by location). Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians. Students will work on songs Monday through Friday and the camp will culminate in a concert at the end of the week for family and friends.
Weekly Schedule
- Camp runs 9AM - 3PM Monday through Friday.
- Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time, music instruction, as well as music-based fun and games, like album recreations, poster design, and our famous ROADIE OLYMPICS.
- Performance for family and friends on Friday afternoon.
what to expect
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection. There are two adjacent restaurants that they may order lunch from as well.
Cancellation Policy
A 50% refund or 100% school credit will be offered on canceled camps up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.
MY DAUGHTER HAS BEEN ATTENDING SCHOOL OF ROCK’S ROCK 101 AND PRIVATE VOICE FOR A FEW MONTHS NOW AND SHE LOVES IT! THE STAFF IS SO ATTENTIVE AND PROFESSIONAL. YOU CAN TELL THEY GET JUST AS MUCH OF A KICK OUT OF TEACHING THE KIDS AS THE KIDS GET OUT OF FINDING THEIR INNER ROCK STAR!
