BEST OF THE 80s CAMP
The 80s brought us a wave of new sounds and genres and produced hits that still rock the airwaves today. In this camp, we’ll perform hits from artists like Billy Idol, Devo, Cyndi Lauper, Van Halen, Flock of Seagulls, and many more. Monday through Friday will be spent learning and practicing songs from the 80s, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 9-18 years old who have played their instrument for at least a year or can play at an intermediate level or above. Evaluation required for non SoR students. If you are unsure of your child’s ability level please contact us for an evaluation prior to signing up. Any current specials or discounts will be honored.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time, and fun music-based games and activities
- On Friday at 2pm at the school, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection each day. If students have their own guitar, bass or microphone, we ask that you have them bring those instruments each day.
My son loved his camp! He said he was engaged throughout the day, had wonderful instructors, and met some wonderful new friends.
