POP PUNK CAMP
Starting in the early 90s, Pop Punk became a popular genre that dominated the radio. It has produced bands like Green Day, Paramore, Blink 182, No Doubt, Fall Out Boy, and many more that will be featured in this camp. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs, all culminating in a live performance at the end of the week. Great for students 9-18 years old who have played their instrument for at least a year or can play at an intermediate level or above. Evaluation required for non SoR students. If you are unsure of your child’s ability level please contact us for an evaluation prior to signing up. Any current specials or discounts will be honored.
WEEKLY schEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time, and fun music-based games and activities
- On Friday at 2pm at the school, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection each day. If your student has their own electric guitar, bass, or microphone, please have them bring it to each day.
The kids not only get to play their own instruments, but also ones they aren’t so familiar with, which piques their interest in other things. I highly recommend School of Rock! -L.N.
