Join us for our Blues Music Camp as we explore the music of innovators like Muddy Waters and Howlin Wolf who inspired generations of Rockers all over the world
Camp Description
The Blues had a baby and they named it Rock and Roll. The British Invasion bands like the Rolling Stones (who are named after a Muddy Waters song) took the Blues and turned them up to 11. Campers will learn the importance of the Blues and explore the music of Howlin Wolf, Bo Diddley, Big Mama Thornton and many others. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 12-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
