Classic Rock 101 campers will learn the music of '60s and '70s rock icons, such as The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, the Who and more! This camp is for complete beginners to intermediate players ages 8 to 16.
CAMP DESCRIPTION
Classic Rock 101 Camp is for beginners through intermediate players ages 8 to 16. Campers will learn the music of classic rock icons like Fleetwood Mac, Kiss, Led Zeppelin, the Who, and more! This camp combines semi-private instruction with group rehearsals. Students will learn about rock history and the evolution of classic rock. This camp is great for both beginners and students who have had some previous instruction.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Day 1, drop off will be from 8:30 to 8:45 a.m. to collect camp paperwork and provide school tours.
On Days 2-5, drop-off will be from 8:45 to 9 a.m.
On the last day, campers will stay until 5 p.m. to put on a camp show for families!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning new music taught by our talented music instructors. Each day will include instruction on each instrument, rehearsals, band practice time, and music-based games and activities. On the last day of camp, students will perform the songs they've learned for their families! Each day, students should bring a lunch, water bottle, and ear protection. Guitarists should bring a guitar if they own one. Drummers can bring their own sticks. Vocalists are welcome to bring their own mics.
