SUMMER CAMPS SCHOOL OF ROCK WALDWICK 2023

JUN 26 - JUN 30, 2023 ROCK 101 CAMP Rock 101 camp is for beginners 8-12 years of age. SCHEDULE: 9:30am to 2:30 Monday through Thursday. Friday 9:30am to 12:30. And 5:15 to 6:30. Final show begins at 6pm on Friday.

JUN 26 - JUN 30, 2023 CLASSIC ROCK REWIND CAMP  Recommended ages 12 to 18. Students must be at least 12 years old with some experience on their instrument. Campers will learn the music of 60s and 70s rock icons such as Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd or Joan Jett in our Classic Rock Summer Camp. SCHEDULE: 9:30am to 2:30 Monday through Thursday. Friday 9:30am to 12:30. And 5:15 to 6:30. Final show begins at 6pm on Friday.

JUL 5 - JUL 7, 2023 ROOKIES CAMP 2023* For 5 to 7 year olds (*Not a performance camp) In this camp, 5-7 year old beginners will learn about different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and appreciation. We will have a variety of activities that teach music and musical concepts. Campers will also get a chance to try various instruments. There are no food breaks but kids can have a bottle of water.  SCHEDULE: 9am to 12 noon Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri. 

JUL 10 - JUL 14, 2023 ROCK 101 CAMP Rock 101 camp is for beginners 8-12 years of age. SCHEDULE: 9:30am to 2:30 Monday through Thursday. Friday 9:30am to 12:30. And 5:15 to 6:30. Final show begins at 6pm on Friday.

JUL 17 - JUL 21, 2023 METAL CAMP Recommended ages 12 to 18. Students must be at least 12 years old with some experience on their instrument. In this camp, students will study and perform the material made famous by classic metal bands like Metallica, Slayer, Maiden, Priest, King Diamond, Sabbath, The Scorpions, Motorhead, Van Halen, etc. SCHEDULE: 9:30am to 2:30 Monday through Thursday. Friday 9:30am to 12:30. And 5:15 to 6:30. Final show begins at 6pm on Friday.

JUL 24 - JUL 28, 2023 BEST OF THE 90'S CAMP Recommended ages 12 to 18. Students must be at least 12 years old with some experience on their instrument. The 90s were one of music’s most important decades as grunge and alternative music took over the airwaves and popular culture. Come celebrate bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Weezer and many more. SCHEDULE: 9:30am to 2:30 Monday through Thursday. Friday 9:30am to 12:30. And 5:15 to 6:30. Final show begins at 6pm on Friday.

JUL 31 - AUG 4, 2023 ROCK 101 CAMP Rock 101 camp is for beginners 8-12 years of age. SCHEDULE: 9:30am to 2:30 Monday through Thursday. Friday 9:30am to 12:30. And 5:15 to 6:30. Final show begins at 6pm on Friday.

AUG 7 - AUG 11, 2023 BEATLES CAMP  In this 5-day camp, students will take a deep dive into the work of The Beatles to learn and perform music from one of the greatest bands ever. SCHEDULE: 9:30am to 2:30 Monday through Thursday. Friday 9:30am to 12:30. And 5:15 to 6:30. Final show begins at 6pm on Friday.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM OUR PERFORMANCE CAMPS:
An amazing week of learning music, meeting friends, and rocking out! Each day will be broken into quick moving segments: playing, instrument sectionals, music theory, stagecraft, rock history, and some traditional camp activities.
