ABOUT PERFORMANCE CAMP
The 80s brought us a wave of new sounds and music genres, and produced hits that still rock the airwaves today. In this music camp, we'll perform hits from artists like Billy Idol, The Police, Guns-n-Roses, Devo, Cyndi Lauper, Van Halen, Flock of Seagulls, and many more 80s Pop and Hair bands. Monday through Friday will be spent learning and practicing 80s songs, all culminating in a live performance on Friday. Great for students 10-17 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Once you've registered, please contact us to schedule a free trial lesson as this helps us assess your young musician and gives them a feel for the program. If you are already a member, no trial is needed. Alexandria@schoolofrock.com 571-376-7625
Weekly Schedule:
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day.
- Drop off is no earlier than 10-mins before the start of the day.
- Pick up is no later than 10-mins after the end of the day (no after care).
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games/activities ending with a Friday Performance.
- On Friday, campers will put on a show for family and friends and perform the songs they’ve been working on all week.
Behavior:
In order to make this camp an exceptional experience for campers and staff, we have a strict policy on disruptive behavior. We expect all campers to respect the school, staff, gear, and other campers.
What to Bring:
- For Performance Camps, musicians are required to bring their own instruments. Drums and keyboards will be provided. All singers are required to bring their own microphone as sharing is unhygienic.
- Campers must bring their own lunch each day. We will provide a Pizza Party on Friday. Please no food with nuts, and no sharing of food.
- Ear protection is required. Search Amazon for "Child ear protection".

CANCELLATION POLICY:
A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 14 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for refund.
