Through this special 5-day songwriting camp, students will learn how to write their own songs! Students will analyze some of the greatest compositions of the last 60 years in order to develop their own tunes. They will learn about chord progressions, arrangements and other tricks of the trade. We’ll spend Monday through Friday learning and writing songs, all culminating in a live performance.

This music camp is great for students 7-18 years old who have had previous instruction. Evaluation required for non-SoR students. If you are unsure of your child’s ability level, please contact us for an evaluation prior to signing up. Any current specials or discounts will be honored.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

• Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day.
• Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games & activities.
• On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, a water bottle and hearing protection.
