Joe Grieman has been keeping the beat for over 25 years as a professional drummer, performing in both original and cover bands on stages across the region and the nation. Known for his powerful grooves, infectious energy, and deep love for live music, Joe brings true Rock n' Roll spirit to every performance.
Offstage, Joe has proven himself as a strong manager and natural leader-- someone who knows how to bring people together, inspire creativity, and keep the band (or any team) locked in perfect rhythm.
When he's not behind the kit, Joe loves spending time with his family and cheering on his hometown heroes, the Minnesota Twins. Now, he's turning the volume all the way up with School of Rock Blaine, ready to help young musicians find their voice, their confidence, and their stage.
Rod Ferreira

Rod is a powerhouse musician and educator on a mission to ignite the passion of young artists. With over 20 years of experience teaching, performing, and creating innovative musical content, he inspires students to play with confidence, creativity and the raw energy of rock n' roll.
Holding a degree in music, Rod blends formal training with real-world stage experience, helping students discover their unique sound while mastering their instruments. From private lessons to group rehearsals, he's developed dynamic teaching methods that encourage self-expression, growth, and a lifelong love of music. Whether coaching a first-time player or leading a full ensemble, Rod brings unstoppable enthusiasm, mentorship, and stage-ready energy to every note, helping every student at School of Rock Blaine shine both on stage and in life.
Ben Baldridge
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Vocal Teacher, Drum Teacher
Ben Baldridge brings 24+ years of experience helping students plug in, turn up, and find their sound on guitar-- electric, acoustic, and classical-- as well as ukulele. He also teaches beginning drum set and voice, making him a versatile coach for musicians ready to rock from day one.
A graduate of Eastman School of Music, Ben studied under Nicholas Goluses and Paul O'Dette, performing in ensembles, choirs, and honing voice and composition. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance with a minor in English Literature.
A seasoned performer across Twin Cities theaters and iconic clubs, Ben blends serious musicianship with real-world stage experience. At School of Rock Blaine, he helps students build confidence, play in a band, and own the stage.
Offstage, Ben enjoys reading, film, lifting, and long walks.
Abby Conzett
Vocal Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Abby grew up in Wisconsin, where her love of music started early through choir, band, jazz choir, and jazz band. She studied guitar and voice for many years before adding piano and trumpet in high school, building a strong multi-instrument foundation.
She went on to study music education at Luther College, performing in choir, a cappella, and vocal jazz groups, and even traveling abroad to make music in Namibia, South Africa, and Italy while studying choral music and opera.
Now in her seventh year teaching general music and choir in Forest Lake, MN, Abby brings energy, experience, and a student-first approach to every lesson. She's passionate about helping young musicians grow in confidence, develop real skills, and have fun making music together-and she's excited to rock with students at School of Rock Blaine.
Liam Goude
Drum Teacher
Liam has been behind the kit for over 13 years, laying down grooves on stages and in studios alike. For the past six years, he's been an active force in both local and touring bands, bringing high-energy precision to every performance.
Rock, punk, and ska are his home base, but he's just as comfortable locking in pop, funk, country, and jazz grooves. With real-world experience as a recording drummer, Liam knows how to play for the song- whether it's on stage or in the studio.
At School of Rock Blaine, he brings that same intensity, versatility, and passion to every student, helping drummers build rock-solid timing, confidence, and stage-ready chops.
Eric Saiveson
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Vocal Teacher, Drum Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Eric Saiveson is a Minneapolis-based composer, educator, and audio engineer who brings a performance-first mindset to every lesson.
He teaches guitar and piano with a focus on ear training, confidence, and practical, real-world musicianship.
Drawing on his experience as both a performer and engineer, Eric meets students where they are while encouraging steady growth and creative independence. Whether working one-on-one or in groups, he combines patience, clarity, and hands-on learning to help students thrive onstage and off.
Outside the School of Rock Blaine classrooms, Eric performs with his band the Waylaters, who will make their live debut on Valentine's Day 2026.
Colin Campbell
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Vocal Teacher
Colin Campbell is a guitarist, frontman, and songwriter for Minneapolis rock band the Shackletons. He cut his teeth hitting weekly blues jams starting at age twelve, learning the craft the old-school way-on stage, with real musicians.
Growing up in a house full of plavers, colin and his father co-founded a nonprofit youth blues camp that brought young musicians together from around the world. That experience sparked his passion for ensemble-based learning and performance.
Today, Colin brings his love of songwriting, live music, and collaborative teaching to students of all ages at School of Rock Blaine, helping them find their sound and own the stage.
Sunny Tingler
Little Wing Teacher, Rookies Teacher, Vocal Teacher, Guitar Teacher
Sunny Meadow Tingler is a vocal teacher and guitar teacher at School of Rock Blaine with over 15 years of singing experience. Classically trained in opera and experienced across rock, pop, and contemporary styles, Sunny brings a strong technical foundation along with real-world performance and band experience into every lesson.
With a relaxed, student-centered teaching approach, Sunny focuses on building confidence, healthy vocal and instrumental technique, and strong musicianship. Whether working with beginners or more advanced students,
Sunny's goal is to help each student grow, perform with confidence, and develop a lifelong love of music-both on and off the stage.
