Brandon Kempf

Brandon Kempf is a multi-disciplinary artist born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Brandon began playing guitar at the age of 11 with influences from bands such as Led Zeppelin, Metallica, and Van Halen. After graduating from UW-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Classical Guitar Performance, Brandon expanded his studies and received his Master of Arts in Performance Studies from Texas A&M University. Outside of School of Rock, Brandon enjoys performing with local artists while also participating both on stage and in the pit for The Theatre Company of Bryan/College Station. What Brandon loves most about working at School of Rock is inspiring and cultivating the future generations of rock musicians.
Ryan Frosch
Drum Teacher, Band Teacher
Ryan Frosch was born and raised in Hondo, TX. Ryan currently attends Texas A&M University, where he is studying Sociology. In his free time, Ryan is a music producer that enjoys making songs and beats in Logic Pro X. A fun fact about Ryan is that he actually attended School of Rock as a student to learn the keyboard before he became an instructor. Ryan’s favorite part about working at School of Rock is getting to be a catalyst for excitement and interest in music.
Aaron Wunneburger
Guitar Teacher, Bass Teacher, Singing Teacher, Band Teacher
Aaron Wunneburger was born and raised in Bryan, TX. Aaron’s musical journey began at 9 years old when his musical inspiration was Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters. In middle school, Aaron was a part of the Stephen F. Austin A Capella Choir for two years. In high school, Aaron was a member of the Bryan High Choir for four years. Aaron enjoys playing rock and heavy metal music, however, his go-to karaoke song is “Kiss” by Prince.
Colten Hartman
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Singing Teacher, Band Teacher
Colten is from Round Rock, TX, and received his first guitar at age 11, spending several years teaching himself before entering the music program at the University of Nebraska. Colten received an undergraduate degree in History, with a minor in Music. His primary instrument is guitar, but he also plays bass, piano, harmonica, and sings, and his musical education had a sub-focus on musical pedagogy and teaching methods. Colten has performed as a vocalist, bassist, pianist, and guitarist, as part of groups and as a solo artist. He is currently finishing his master's degree in History.
Colten is into all kinds of music with very few exceptions. His specialty is blues music and he is also deeply familiar with rock, metal, country, folk, classical, and jazz. He enjoys teaching music as it allows him to spread the phenomenon of music to others and because it enables him to be a resource for up-and-coming musicians. Colten strives to be communicative and accommodating with respect to the needs of his students. Outside of the School of Rock, Colten writes and composes music, writes poetry, skateboards, plays video games, translates Dutch, and raises goats.
Eddie Mora
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Eddie Mora is originally from Lubbock, TX, but was raised in Cameron. Eddie started playing guitar in his junior year of high school, where his biggest influence was John Petrucci of Dream Theater. Eddie currently plays in a band called Warhead Wrex, a heavy metal band out of San Marcos. Warhead Wrex has played at established venues such as Stubbs and Come and Take IT Live. What Eddie loves most about working at School of Rock is getting the “light bulb” effect during a lesson and seeing a student leave feeling accomplished.
Weston Russell
Keyboard Teacher
Weston Russell was born in Liberty, TX where he started playing the keyboard at the age of 13. Weston graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Genetics. Weston’s experience includes performing and touring in multiple venues across the West Coast, Canada, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Greece. What Weston loves most about working at School of Rock is getting to know each student and seeing them grow as both musicians and human beings.
Brittney Green
Keyboard Teacher, Singing Teacher
Brittney Green has called College Station, TX her home for as long as she can remember. Born and raised in a home surrounded by music, Brittney began playing the keyboard at the age of 5 by plucking out each note to her favorite song, “I Won’t Say I’m in Love” from Disney's animated film Hercules. Brittney was influenced by her father but eventually became self-taught on the keyboard. In her free time, you can catch Brittney volunteering both on stage and behind the scenes at The Theatre Company in Bryan/College Station. What Brittney loves most about working at School of Rock is sharing her love of music with the next generation.
Randy Wassermann
Drum Teacher
Randy Wassermann got his first drum kit when he was 6 years old. Being the youngest of four, Randy learned how to play drums by playing along to his siblings' albums. Randy has been a touring and studio drummer on the title track of Ruthie Foster’s debut album, “Full Circle.” Randy also signed to Hollywood Records with his childhood friends in the rock power trio, SLIM. These days, Randy currently backs artists such as Lucas Johnson, Taylor Graves, and the Tombstone Trio.
Devin Hemphill
Manager
Devin was born and raised right here in central Texas. In high school, Devin was an all-around athlete, participating in football, basketball, and track, and thoroughly enjoyed the fitness side aspect. In 2010, Devin completed trade school and became a certified personal trainer, and has been coaching and managing a gym for the last several years.
Devin is a family man with two beautiful daughters and is set to be married in December of 2022. Devin is an outgoing, fun-loving guy who enjoys building relationships with others, and is excited to learn and grow with School of Rock.
Jesse
Drums Teacher, Guitar Teacher
Jesse was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and was bitten by the musical bug by the time he could walk. From middle school percussion, to drum line captain, he always marched to the beat of his own drum (ba-dum-tssss!). Being a child of the year 2000, his favorite band is the Deftones and his rock icon Dave Grohl. Eventually he taught himself bass and guitar so he could start writing and performing his own material, because performance is his true passion.
