In this camp, 6-7 year-old beginners will learn about different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and appreciation.

CAMP DESCRIPTION

This week-long camp offers a fun introduction to music, covering ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns, and group playing. Students will explore various rock instruments and get their first taste of music theory and appreciation. Designed for 6-7-year-olds with little to no prior musical experience, this four-day camp runs from Monday to Thursday, with a live-streamed performance on the final day.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Camp runs Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 11:30am each day
Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games & activities
On Thursday, we will livestream the campers while they play and perform the songs they've been working on throughout the week!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring snacks, water and hearing protection.

At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Camp session may be moved to a later camp date, with ZERO fees, if done 7 days before camp start date. 50% of the registration fee is non-refundable. Camp tuition is non-refundable if canceled on the first day of camp.
