About This Camp
Heavy Metal Music Camp focuses on the pioneers of Heavy Metal such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and many more! This 4-day camp will feature soaring vocals, shredding guitar, and thundering bass and drums. This camp is great for metal heads 7-18 who have had some previous instruction. Come raise your horns as we salute the Gods of Heavy Metal!
Schedule
- Camp runs Tuesday - Friday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm each day (Note: This is a 4-day camp)
- Drop off is no earlier than 5 minutes before the start of camp
- Pick up is no later than 5 minutes after camp
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
Friday Performance
On Friday, campers will put on a show for family and friends by performing the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week. The show will take place at School of Rock Buckhead. Parents, guardians and family members are welcome to attend the end of camp performance, the event is free of charge.
What to Bring?
- Campers must bring their own (NUT-FREE) lunch, snacks and water bottle labeled with their name each day.
- Please make sure your student wears clothing and footwear suitable for both indoor and outdoor activities.
- Students are expected to bring their own instruments needed for the duration of the camp. We can supply instruments if needed.
- Please note that campers may rotate through and play different instruments throughout the camp, depending on the needs of the group.
- Campers must bring their own hearing protection (available for purchase)

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations up to 45 days prior to the start of camp will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are provided for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the start of camp. In the event that School of Rock must cancel a camp for any reason (such as not enough campers), a full refund will be provided.
