All of School of Rock Chantilly’s music teachers are experienced musicians devoted to helping students attain musical proficiency. Our instructors guide students one-on-one to personalize learning, inspire confidence and build social skills.
David Londres
Bass Guitar Teacher, Guitar Teacher
David Londres is a bass guitar and guitar teacher with over ten years of experience on bass guitar. A self-taught bassist, he went on to study music at Washington College, where he majored in Music Composition. In addition to bass guitar and guitar, David also plays drums, piano, sings, and produces music. He has performed in numerous rock, jazz, and electronic concerts, as well as musical theatre productions such as American Idiot and The Lightning Thief. Alongside teaching at School of Rock Chantilly, David produces and records his own music.
Sayf Turkomani
Drums Teacher, Vocals Teacher
Sayf Turkomani is a musician and audio engineer with a passion for teaching and creating immersive sound experiences. He has worked on live concerts, plays, and musicals, as well as composing original music for films and video games. Sayf has performed in bands across Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Hong Kong, and Singapore, and he is excited to share his love of music and learning with students at School of Rock Chantilly.
Monifa Agha
Guitar Teacher, Vocals Teacher
Monifa Agha grew up in a musical family, inspired by her father’s playing and her mother’s classical singing from Pakistan. She began learning guitar during the pandemic and explored everything from traditional Pakistani ghazals to artists like The Beatles, Bon Jovi, Frank Ocean, Men I Trust, and Scorpions. For the past five years, Monifa has taught guitar and ukulele to students of all ages. Now a college law student, she continues to keep music as an important part of her life, using it to relax, express herself, and stay connected to her roots while teaching at School of Rock Chantilly.
Drake Newcomb
Drums Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Guitar Teacher
Drake is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in drums and bass guitar with over five years of teaching experience. Throughout high school, he competed in county and statewide orchestral and marching band competitions, and later toured with a reggae band that opened for Ziggy Marley at the 2017 Celebrate Virginia event. He is currently studying music at NOVA and plays drums for the band Friday Night Flicks. Drake is excited to share his passion for music and inspire students at School of Rock Chantilly to find their own path in the world of music.
Fabricio Claros
Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Drums Teacher, Guitar Teacher
Fabricio discovered his love for music in high school, where he completed a music and composition program and began producing his own original work. Growing up, he taught himself multiple instruments and found his sound through the hip hop and rap influences of his childhood. A multi-instrumentalist now studying online at Berklee College of Music, Fabricio is passionate about sharing his knowledge. He brings compassion, respect, and professionalism to his teaching, helping students at School of Rock Chantilly succeed while developing their own love for music.
Brody Minnick
Drums Teacher
Brody Minnick is a drummer, producer, and music industry professional with over a decade of experience playing, recording, and writing music. He graduated with honors from West Virginia University’s Music Industry program, where he worked with Mon Hills Music Group as both a producer and artist manager. Brody has contributed to projects ranging from band recordings, producing, and has spent the last three years teaching the marching drumline at Briar Woods High School. He brings his passion for collaboration and creativity to every project he’s a part of. At School of Rock Chantilly, he’s excited to share his experience and help students grow as confident musicians.
