BATTLE OF THE BANDS!
REGISTRATION:

- Submissions will be accepted starting March 30, 2026, through April 30, 2026.

- Email cherryhill@schoolofrock.com to register

Please include in your registration email to cherryhill@schoolofrock.com:

- Links to artist’s social media platforms;

- Photo and short biography; and

- Downloadable link to a video of your entire Band/Artist playing a song (see criteria below).

- Please make sure the attached video link is easily downloadable.

- Please choose your application song carefully. This will be your first-round song submission.

- Registration does not guarantee participation.

- Bands/Artists will be announced on May 1, 2026. 

SONG CRITERIA:

- Please submit a high quality downloadable video. 

- Song lyrics must be family-friendly. Songs with obscene subject matter, use of profanity, or songs of a suggestive nature will not be considered.

- Song length must be between three (3) and five (5) minutes. 

WHO CAN ENTER?

- Band or Solo Artist playing original music from any genre.

- Band /Artist whose members are all under 18 years old as of June 4, 2026. Exception: Bands with members over 18 who are recent SOR graduates (2025)  may still participate.

VOTING & JUDGING:

- Voting will be a pay-to-play vote. $10 entry gives you 5 tickets for voting. Each additional vote is $2.00, and you can vote as many times as you like. 

*In the event of a tie score, SOR will determine the winner.

MARKETING & PROMOTION:

- Each Band/Artist will be responsible for promoting their submissions via social media platforms, websites, and YouTube.

- When posting on social media platforms, please use the hashtags #sorch, #schoolofrockcherryhill, and #sorchbattleofthebands.

- All Bands/Artists agree to have their name, voice, and/or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without compensation or right to royalties for such use.

- Make sure to encourage your fans, friends, and family to vote!
