CAMP DESCRIPTION
In this camp, students will create pounding drumline arrangements using buckets, trash cans, or anything else that gets the body moving!
The drum instructors leading this camp are part of the "216 Stix," the Bucket Drum Line of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Each day, campers will learn the basics of bucket drumming while incorporating stick mechanics to get the most out of their instrument. They will also work on a short performance, including solo pieces! At the end of the camp, students, working alongside their instructors, will apply their new skills to arrange and perform an original piece.
Great for ages 8-13. No drumming experience needed.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, campers will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, a refillable water bottle with their name on it, hearing protection, and drum sticks.
Weekly CAMP SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Wednesday, 10 am - 3 pm
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time, and fun music-based games and activities
- On Wednesday, campers will perform an original bucket drumming arrangment!
PERFORMANCE Details
Join us at the school on Wednesday, July 1st at 2:30 PM. Friends and family are invited to cheer on our campers as they showcase their new bucket drumming skills!
CANCELLATION POLICY
A refund, less a $50 fee, will be offered on camps canceled by the participant up until March 1st, applied to the credit card used for the original purchase. Cancellations after March 1st are not eligible for a refund.
SALE POLICY
We run sales on camps periodically throughout the year. While you can wait for a sale, this will not guarantee you a spot in a camp as they do fill up quickly. We will not retroactively discount a camp from a current or future sale. All pricing is final once the processing is complete.
