CAMP DESCRIPTION
At Mixtape Camp, campers get a voice in shaping the setlist! Campers will mix together a lineup of rock hits across different genres and styles by voting from an extensive list of songs from our patented School of Rock Method App. Throughout the week, campers will learn how to collaborate, listen, communicate, and perform together as a true band. They’ll also get to come up with a band name, logo, and show theme to make their performance uniquely their own! The final setlist will be shaped by camper votes and the songs that best fit our band lineup. Your choices matter! Every vote helps influence the final show.
Perfect for students ready to take their skills to the next level, Mixtape Camp combines the best parts of creative choice, teamwork, and musicianship, all culminating in a final performance at the end of the week!
Great for students 9-18 years old who play at an intermediate level or above. Evaluation is required for non-School of Rock students. If you are unsure of your child's ability level, please contact us for an evaluation prior to signing up. Any current specials or discounts will be honored.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, campers will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
Weekly CAMP SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 3 PM
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time, and fun music-based games and activities
- On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
PERFORMANCE Details
Students will spend the full camp day at the venue (TBD) on Friday, June 26th. They will rehearse their set, eat lunch and get ready for their live performance showcasing a unique setlist inspired by each camper! Showtime for family and friends will be at 2 PM.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A refund, less a $50 fee, will be offered on camps canceled by the participant up until March 1st, applied to the credit card used for the original purchase. Cancellations after March 1st are not eligible for a refund.
SALE POLICY
We run sales on camps periodically throughout the year. While you can wait for a sale, this will not guarantee you a spot in a camp as they do fill up quickly. We will not retroactively discount a camp from a current or future sale. All pricing is final once the processing is complete.
