This camp is for beginners aged 8-11. No experience needed. Students will explore their instruments through musical activities and basic band rehearsal, ending with a rock show at the end of the week!

Camp Description

Want to play in a band onstage? Our Rock 101 camp is designed for beginners 8-11 years of age. No experience necessary! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities. Students will learn songs by artists such as the White Stripes, Green Day and Imagine Dragons (song selection will vary by location). Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians. Students will work on songs Monday through Friday and the camp will culminate in a concert at the end of the week for family and friends.

Weekly Schedule

• Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day
• Drop off is 15-mins before the start of the day
• Each day will consist of rehearsal time, practice time and fun games/activities
• On Friday, campers will put on a show for family and friends and perform the songs they’ve been working on all week

Cancellation Policy

Our camp cancellation policy is 15 days prior to the start of the camp. We will not be able to provide refunds for cancellation notice less than 15 Days. Certain exceptions may apply. Contact douglasdale@schoolofrock.com for more information.
