Hello, School Of Rock Families!
Welcome to June! Summer is finally here, and we've got tons of fun events coming up for a musical first month of summer! In addition, our new seasons of Performance Program and Rock 101 will be starting this month, so there's more to look forward to coming up.
Let's start off with a recap our many shows from last month! First: our DuPage County Houseband Showcase!
On May 7th, all three of our School of Rock DuPage County Housebands came together for an awesome show! It was some of the bands' first gig of the season, and it was great to see our students' talent and hard work onstage!
The event was held at Elmhurst Hall, a new venue in Elmhurst!

A recap on our Performance Program Show!
On May 21st, our performance students rocked out to showcase the hard work they've put in over the Spring performance season! This show paid tribute to decades--the 1970's, 1980's, 1990's, 2000's, and 2010's.
This show was hosted at Elmhurst Hall, so big thanks to this new venue for an amazing end of season show.

HOUSEBAND PERFORMS BEFORE CHICAGO DOGS BASEBALL GAME
The Elmhurst house band will perform before the Chicago Dogs Baseball game at Impact Field in Rosemont! School of Rock and The Chicago Dogs have partnered once again for their Happy Friday’s event. Come out Friday, June 10th to enjoy some fun, baseball, and awesome rock and roll by the School of Rock Elmhurst Houseband.

SCHOOL OF ROCK DUPAGE COUNTY HOUSEBANDS PERFORM AT NAPER NIGHTS
Naper Nights is a yearly event hosted by Naper Settlement. Each year the event features a great lineup of live entertainment on evenings in the Summer. This year, Naper Nights will be hosted on THREE weekends across the Summer, and School of Rock Housebands will play each of the three weekends!
The first weekend of the festival is June 17th & 18th. School of Rock Naperville will perform on the 17th, and School of Rock Elmhurst will perform on the 18th.

HOUSEBAND PERFORMS AT THE ELMHURST FAMILY PRIDE FEST
The School of Rock Elmhurst Houseband will perform from 1pm-2pm at this year's Elmhurst Family Pride Fest! While the Houseband will perform for only an hour of the festival, the entire Pride Fest runs from 12pm-3pm.
In addition to the Houseband performance, School of Rock will set up our Little Wing Instrument "Petting Zoo," where your little ones can play on real instruments!

We are hiring!
We are hiring a new Studio Coordinator! If you know anyone who loves engaging with the School of Rock community, keeping track of schedules, and chatting on the phone, send them our way at elmhurst@schoolofrock.com!
We still have spaces open in our Little Wing and Rookies programs!
A few months ago, we opened new Rookies and Little Wing classes. Since then, those classes have not been fully filled! If you know a 3-5 year old who has a knack for music, let us know, and we'll recommend their family our Little Wing program! If you know a 6-7 year old not quite sure what instrument they want to play, our Rookies program can help them out!

Summer camps begin this month!
There are still spots in some of our summer camps! If your child is looking for another activity this summer, why not enroll in a camp? Some camps are already sold out though, so take a look soon!
