Does School of Rock teach music theory?

As part of the School of Rock Method, our SongFirst™ approach uses classic songs to teach technique and music theory. As opposed to learning all your scales, chords, and theory concepts before tackling a song, our goal is to start a student learning a song, and to tackle each and every concept that that song contains. This method helps students remain excited about their music education as they have the goal of playing an entire song, with only one or two new techniques standing in their way.
