School of Rock Fort Collins offers music lessons through a unique performance-based approach that combines weekly private lessons with group band rehearsals. Students learn their instrument in one-on-one instruction while also rehearsing with a band and preparing for live performances throughout the year.
At School of Rock Fort Collins, we begin one-on-one lessons when students enter our Rock 101 program at 7 years old.
Yes! School of Rock Fort Collins offers adult music programs for musicians of all experience levels—from complete beginners to seasoned players. Adult students participate in weekly lessons and group rehearsals, working toward live performances just like our youth programs.

School of Rock Fort Collins offers our Rock 101 program for students ages 7 to 11, our Performance Program for students ages 11 to 18, and our Adult Program for students 18+.
School of Rock Fort Collins does not require long-term contracts. However, the program runs year-round, and families must provide 30 days written notice if they wish to cancel enrollment.
During their first lesson, students will meet their instructor, discuss musical interests and goals, and start working on their first song!
School of Rock Fort Collins uses a performance-based music education model, which means students don’t just practice alone—they learn to perform with a band. This approach helps students develop musical skills, confidence, teamwork, and stage presence while having fun making music.
During summer camps at School of Rock Fort Collins, students spend several days immersed in music learning and band collaboration. These camps are open to both current students and new musicians who want to experience the School of Rock method.
