All of School of Rock Fredericksburg’s music teachers are experienced musicians devoted to helping students attain musical proficiency. Our instructors guide students one-on-one to personalize learning, inspire confidence and build social skills.
Wilson Pezzuto
Music Director, Vocal Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Wilson Pezzuto brings a lifelong passion for the arts and professional theatre experience to School of Rock Fredericksburg. Storytelling and music have always driven Wilson. From a young age, he honed his skills in piano, voice, dance, and acting, developing a deep appreciation for all things performance. This foundation led him through professional training and ultimately to a thriving career on the East Coast.
As a professional musician and director, Wilson has worked extensively as an accompanist, music director, and stage director, earning recognition for the immersive and exciting quality of his productions. He's directed successful theatrical runs of shows like Little Shop of Horrors and Into the Woods, and his original musical, The Tempest: The Musical, enjoyed a sold-out run. His credits also include serving as Associate Music Director for Montgomery College’s 2024 production of In the Heights.
Beyond his directing portfolio, Wilson is an accomplished performer, having been a featured artist at the Hard Rock Casino in Florida and performed in professional shows like Escape to Margaritaville (Jamal), Once on This Island (Daniel), and The Boys in the Band (Bernard). Wilson is thrilled to channel his energy for performance, composition, and professional musical training into developing the next generation of artists here at School of Rock!
Mallori Wilkinson
Studio Coordinator, Vocal Teacher
As studio coordinator and a vocal teacher at School of Rock Fredericksburg, Mallori oversees the smooth operation of the music programs, ensuring students and instructors have what they need for a successful learning experience. She also provides dynamic, performance-based vocal instruction, helping students build confidence and develop their unique voices for the stage.
Ted Mason
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
As a Guitar and Bass Instructor at the School of Rock in Fredericksburg, Ted is dedicated to fostering a supportive and creative environment where students can thrive. He ensures that students have everything they need to succeed in their musical journeys. Ted’s teaching style emphasizes performance-based learning, helping students build their confidence and develop their own unique sound on guitar and bass. His goal is to prepare them for the stage, guiding them toward becoming skilled and expressive musicians.
Hallie Hust
Guitar Teacher
Hallie, an alumna of School of Rock, brings her passion and firsthand experience to her role as a guitar instructor. Having been through the same programs, she understands what it takes to succeed and works hard to create an encouraging and engaging learning environment. Hallie’s teaching focuses on helping students find their own style and gain the confidence to perform. With her guidance, students not only develop technical skills but also a deep connection to music, preparing them to take the stage with creativity and passion.
James Juliano
Drum Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Guitar Teacher
James is a multi-talented instructor at the School of Rock in Fredericksburg. He teaches drums, bass guitar, and guitar, bringing his extensive experience as a former student at three different School of Rock locations. His diverse background in multiple instruments allows him to offer a well-rounded approach to music education.
James is passionate about helping every student discover their musical voice, whether it’s through rhythm, groove, or melody. With his blend of technical expertise and performance-based teaching, James inspires students to push their limits and gain confidence as they prepare to take the stage.
Paul Coladonato
Bass Guitar Teacher
Paul is a bass guitar teacher, show director, and sound engineer for the School of Rock Fredericksburg’s live performances. His musical journey began over 50 years ago with classical cello training before discovering his love for the bass. Since then, he’s rocked stages with bands of all kinds—from hard-hitting rock trios to high-energy pop and dance acts.
With decades of live performance experience, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and a rock-and-roll spirit to every lesson and show, inspiring students to shine on stage and beyond.
Faith Diokno
Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Faith is a keyboard + piano teacher at School of Rock Fredericksburg with over a decade of experience inspiring young musicians. At a California music school, she worked closely with the director to lead group classes and organize student concerts and recitals.
Outside the classroom, Faith formed a cover band that rocked venues around town, including the Stafford County Fair. With a knack for blending structure and creativity, she helps students build their skills and confidence, one performance at a time.
Juan Somarriba
Guitar Teacher
Juan began his guitar journey at the age of 14 and quickly developed a passion for music that led him to earn a BA in Music from Radford University, where he focused on classical guitar and music theory. With years of performing and recording experience in the DC rock and metal scene, Juan has played with bands such as Garden of Shadows, Brave, While Heaven Wept, Black Horizon, and Modulus.
At School of Rock Fredericksburg, Juan brings a deep knowledge of guitar technique and musical fundamentals to every lesson. His teaching style is structured, engaging, and adaptable to students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're into shredding solos, mastering rhythm, or building a solid foundation in theory, Juan’s thoughtful approach helps students reach their full potential—both on stage and in the practice room.
