The Rock 101 music camp is for beginners 7-12 years of age. No experience needed. Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities
CAMP DESCRIPTION
Campers will learn the music of 60s and 70s rock icons such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones in our Classic Rock Rewind summer camp. In addition to songs, students will learn about rock history and the stagecraft needed to perform on a stage. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 8-17 years of age. Please note: All summer campers need to have experience in their instrument. We ask that campers have played before and have some fundamentals down so that we can ensure that the camp week is fun for everyone!
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based game & activities
- On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water and hearing protection.
