CAMP DESCRIPTION
Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns and group playing are all part of this week-long introduction to music. In this music camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation. This camp is designed for 6 to 7-year-old students who have little to no experience with music. This three-day drop off camp runs Monday through Wednesday with a performance at the end of the last day.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Wednesday, 9:30am - 12pm each day
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based game & activities
- On Wednesday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week! The performance will start promptly at 12 pm.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, and water, except on Fridays no lunch is needed as we provide pizza. Please let us know by the first day of camp if your child has any allergies/special dietary needs so that we can factor that into the food order for Friday. Hearing protection is required. We provide over the ear hearing protection for no cost or disposable hearing protection available for $1 plus tax at the front desk.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund or credit.
