Cleveland, Ohio - Get ready to rock and celebrate Pride like never before! The 2023 Spring Season Pride shows from all three School of Rock Cleveland locations (Highland Heights, Cleveland West, and Strongsville) are gearing up to deliver an unforgettable performance at the upcoming Pride Rocks event, hosted by the legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Thursday, June 1st at 5 PM at the Union Home Mortgage Plaza.
Pride Rocks, an annual extravaganza that honors the LGBTQ+ community's indelible influence on music, promises to be a spectacle of love, acceptance, and incredible music. With the Rock Hall's iconic architecture serving as the backdrop, this event has become a hallmark celebration of diversity and unity within the rock 'n' roll community.
Taking the stage to kick off Pride in the CLE, School of Rock Cleveland is set to showcase their immense talent and pay homage to the artists who have fearlessly paved the way for LGBTQ+ representation in the music industry. Under the guidance of their dedicated directors, these aspiring rockstars have been preparing an exhilarating setlist that captures the spirit of Pride and celebrates the power of music as a unifying force.
The young musicians, ranging from 10 to 18 years old, have been honing their skills and rehearsing tirelessly over the last four months to ensure a performance that will leave a lasting impact. Expect to hear them cover LGBTQ+ artists such as Queen, The B-52's, and Brandi Carlile, as well as Pride anthems like "Macho Man" and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody."
