CAMP DESCRIPTION
Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns and group playing are all part of this introduction to music. In this music camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation. This camp is designed for 5 to 7-year-old students who have little to no experience with music. This three-day camp runs Monday through Wednesday.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Wednesday, 10am - 2pm each day
- Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
- Drop off is no earlier than 5-minutes before the start of camp, and pick up no later than 5-minutes after camp
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
