Camp Description

Want to play in a band on stage? Our Rock 101 music camp is designed for beginners 8-12 years old. No experience necessary! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities. Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians. Students will work on songs Monday through Friday, and the camp will culminate in a recording studio session and an on-stage concert at the end of the week for family and friends.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

• Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9:30am – 2:30pm
• Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games and activities
• On Friday, the camp will end with a recording session and a showcase performance at our school, where campers will record and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week. Friends and families are invited!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors.

Please bring snacks, water, and hearing protection.

At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy that may look like weapons from being brought to camp.

PREP FOR CAMP

If you are new to the exciting world of School of Rock, come in for a free trial lesson and tour of the school. We love meeting our new campers ahead of time and assessing their proficiency level to ensure they have the best camp experience.

We offer deep discounts on private-lessons packages during the weeks before camp, to help our campers get ahead of the game and be ready to strike the right chord on day 1 of camp. Contact us for more details!

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation up to 30 days before the camp is eligible for a full refund in the form of SoR Lemont account credit (which can be used for any other School of Rock Lemont program), or a refund back to the card used minus a $50 processing fee.
Cancellation within 29 days or less before the camp is eligible for a full refund in the form of SoR Lemont account credit, or a 50% refund back to the card used. Transferring enrollment to a different camp is allowed, subject to availability.
