Heather Torrez
General Manager
For as long as she can remember, Heather has loved exploring culture, learning from different perspectives, and helping others grow through education. She earned her bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Art History from UC San Diego, where she developed a deep appreciation for the arts and creative expression.
Heather has lived in Northern Colorado for over a decade and has been part of the team at School of Rock Loveland since the school opened in 2024. Her professional background includes leadership roles in management as well as several years working as a paraprofessional in an elementary school, supporting students in their academic and personal development.
Heather loves working with kids and has volunteered in educational settings since high school. At School of Rock Loveland, she enjoys being part of a community that combines music education, creativity, and performance-based learning to help young musicians build confidence both on and off the stage. Being part of a program that offers music lessons for kids and teens in Loveland while encouraging personal growth through music makes her work especially rewarding.
Jordan Pasquin
Regional Music Director, Drum Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Guitar Teacher
Jordan Pasquin is a professional drummer, educator, and Regional Music Director at School of Rock Loveland, where he helps lead the school’s performance-based music education programs and drum lessons in Loveland, Colorado. With more than 15 years of experience behind the drum kit, Jordan works with students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners learning their first beats to advanced musicians refining technique and stage performance.
Jordan holds a Bachelor’s degree from Berklee College of Music, one of the world’s leading contemporary music schools. His diverse musical background allows him to teach a wide range of drumming styles including rock, funk, pop, jazz, and alternative, while helping students develop strong fundamentals, musical creativity, and confidence as performers.
As Regional Music Director, Jordan helps oversee the musical direction and performance quality of School of Rock programs, mentoring students and guiding bands as they prepare for live shows throughout Northern Colorado.
An active performer in the Northern Colorado music scene, Jordan has played across the country and is known for his work with Write Minded, Cary Morin & Ghost Dog, and I Am The Owl. He also works regularly as a session drummer for recording projects across multiple genres, bringing real-world professional experience into every lesson.
In addition to performing and teaching, Jordan works as a drum technician at the legendary Blasting Room recording studio in Fort Collins, helping artists achieve their best possible sound in the studio.
At School of Rock Loveland, Jordan is passionate about helping students discover the joy of music through drum lessons and live performance opportunities for kids, teens, and adults in Loveland and Northern Colorado. He believes learning music can strengthen creativity, confidence, and overall well-being—physically, mentally, and spiritually—and he loves passing that passion on to every student he teaches.
Mike Adams
Music Director, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Vocal Teacher
Mike Adams is the Music Director at School of Rock Loveland and a keyboard + piano teacher with more than two decades of playing experience. At School of Rock Loveland, Mike helps lead the school’s performance-based music education programs while teaching piano and keyboard lessons for students of all ages and skill levels in Loveland and Northern Colorado.
Mike earned a degree in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music, one of the world’s premier contemporary music schools. While at Berklee, he served as president of the Berklee Songwriters Club, the largest student organization on campus, helping connect musicians and songwriters from around the world.
In 2017, Mike moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, where he became involved in the Northern Colorado music community while working at the Downtown Artery, a well-known venue supporting local artists. His involvement in the local scene led him to begin performing keys with the Fort Collins surf rock band Robert Shredford, where he has been playing since 2018.
As Music Director at School of Rock Loveland, Mike helps guide the school’s band programs and student performances, mentoring young musicians as they develop their skills and confidence on stage. He loves helping students grow through piano lessons, keyboard performance, songwriting, and live band collaboration.
Through School of Rock’s live performance-based music lessons in Loveland, Mike works with students to build strong musicianship, creativity, and stage presence. He is passionate about sharing his love of music with the next generation of musicians and plans to spend the rest of his life playing, performing, and teaching music in Northern Colorado.
JJ Maestas
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Vocal Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Jacob Maestas is a music instructor at School of Rock Loveland, bringing years of performance experience across rock, funk, ska, and punk to students in Loveland and Northern Colorado. Jacob has been performing live music since he was 15 years old, playing in bands and venues throughout Colorado while developing a reputation for energetic performances and a passion for helping others discover the power of music.
Over the years, Jacob has built an impressive musical résumé that includes performing at major events such as Taste of Colorado and presenting TEDx talks on how music education can positively change lives. His experience as both a performer and speaker reflects his deep belief that music can help people build confidence, creativity, and connection.
At School of Rock Loveland, Jacob works with music students of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop strong fundamentals while encouraging them to find their own musical identity. He tailors each lesson to the unique goals, interests, and learning style of every student, whether they are just beginning their musical journey or preparing to perform live on stage.
Through performance-based music lessons in Loveland, Jacob helps students build musicianship, stage presence, and confidence while exploring the styles of music they love. He is passionate about helping young musicians grow and discover their own unique voice through music.
Lucy Logan
Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Vocal Teacher, Little Wing Director, Rookies Director
Lucy is a voice teacher at School of Rock Loveland, where she teaches singing and vocal lessons in Loveland, Colorado for students of all ages and skill levels. She discovered her love of singing in middle school through choir and musical theater and began taking private voice lessons as a freshman in high school.
Lucy has performed in a variety of vocal programs and competitions, including Colorado All-State Choir, Thescon, and NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), where she placed second in the classical category. She recently graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in vocal performance, and is continuing to develop her skills as both a performer and musician in the Northern Colorado music community.
At School of Rock Loveland, Lucy is excited to begin her teaching career and help students discover their own voices through performance-based music lessons and vocal coaching. She loves working with young singers and helping them build confidence, technique, and stage presence.
Lucy is passionate about sharing the joy of music with her students and helping them grow as performers through singing lessons in Loveland and live band performance opportunities at School of Rock Loveland. Her goal is to help every student feel confident on stage—and get them singing like a rock star.
Kyle Krueckeberg

Kyle Krueckeberg is a guitar and bass guitar teacher at School of Rock Loveland, bringing more than 20 years of professional performance experience to music lessons in Loveland, Colorado. Kyle teaches guitar, bass, and vocal performance to students of all ages and skill levels, helping beginners build strong fundamentals while guiding experienced players in developing their sound and stage presence.
Throughout his career, Kyle has performed professionally across a wide range of musical styles including rock, punk, metal, and alternative, giving him a versatile background that helps students explore the music they love while learning essential musicianship.
Kyle is currently the bassist and vocalist for the Fort Collins-based punk metal band I Am the Owl and also performs through his solo project, The Dark Lake. His experience performing throughout the Northern Colorado music scene allows him to bring real-world insight into every lesson.
In addition to performing, Kyle has extensive experience in live sound, recording, mixing and mastering, and songwriting, giving students a broader understanding of how modern musicians create and perform music both on stage and in the studio.
At School of Rock Loveland, Kyle loves helping students grow through performance-based music education, where young musicians learn by playing in real bands and performing live. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and inspiring the next generation of rock musicians in Loveland and Northern Colorado.
El Duncan

El Duncan is a guitar, bass guitar, and vocal teacher at School of Rock Loveland, teaching music lessons in Loveland, Colorado for students of all ages and skill levels. El began their musical journey in the fifth grade with vocal lessons, growing up in a talented musical family that encouraged creativity and performance from an early age.
Shortly after discovering their love of singing, El picked up the guitar, but their musical path truly took off when they joined School of Rock in Philadelphia in seventh grade. The experience of learning through performance-based music education helped shape El’s identity as a musician and performer.
El continued performing with School of Rock throughout high school, eventually joining the House Band and expanding their skills by adding bass guitar to their list of instruments. Performing regularly on stage helped them develop strong musicianship, confidence, and a passion for helping other young musicians grow.
After moving to Fort Collins, Colorado, El began studying music at Colorado State University and soon made the transition from School of Rock student to teacher. At School of Rock Loveland, El now helps students discover the same excitement and confidence that comes from learning music through live band performance and music lessons in Loveland and Northern Colorado.
El is passionate about sharing their love of music and inspiring the next generation of rock musicians at School of Rock Loveland.
Ben Eberle

Ben Eberle is a multi-instrument teacher at School of Rock Loveland, teaching drums, guitar, bass guitar, keyboard + piano, and vocals through music lessons in Loveland, Colorado. Ben works with students of all ages and skill levels, helping beginners build strong musical foundations while guiding more experienced students in developing technique, creativity, and live performance skills.
An active performer in the Northern Colorado music scene, Ben currently plays in several popular local bands, including Tonguebyte and People in General. His experience performing throughout Loveland, Fort Collins, and the surrounding Northern Colorado area allows him to bring real-world performance insight into every lesson.

Nathan Triz

Nathan Triz is a multi-instrument instructor and singer-songwriter at School of Rock Loveland, teaching music lessons in Loveland, Colorado for students of all ages and skill levels. Based in nearby Windsor, Colorado, Nathan brings a wide range of musical experience to the School of Rock Loveland community, helping students explore different styles while building strong musicianship and confidence.
As a versatile multi-instrumentalist, Nathan draws inspiration from a wide variety of musical genres. He blends those influences into both his performances and his teaching style, helping students discover their own musical voice while developing the technical skills needed to perform live.
Nathan is also a strong believer in the transformative power of music education. He believes learning music is not only an enriching artistic pursuit but also a powerful tool for cognitive growth, creativity, and personal development at any age. Crystal Mendez

Crystal Pelham is a bass guitar teacher at School of Rock Loveland, teaching bass and music lessons in Loveland, Colorado for students of all ages and skill levels. Based in Northern Colorado, Crystal brings more than 15 years of playing experience to her lessons, helping students build strong musical fundamentals while developing confidence and creativity as performers.
In addition to her work at School of Rock Loveland, Crystal has teaching experience with several respected Colorado school systems, including the Poudre School District, Douglas County Schools, and Boulder Valley School District. Her background in both classroom and private music instruction allows her to connect with students and adapt her teaching style to fit each learner’s goals and abilities.
Crystal performs and teaches across a wide variety of musical styles, with a particular love for hard rock and metal bass playing. Through performance-based music lessons at School of Rock Loveland, she helps students learn how to lock in with a band, develop strong rhythm and technique, and build the confidence that comes from playing live music.

Erich Albrecht

Originally from Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Erich is a multi-instrument teacher at School of Rock Loveland, teaching music lessons in Loveland, Colorado for students of all ages and skill levels. He has lived in Fort Collins since 2020 and has been performing and playing music since 2012.
Erich sings and plays guitar and bass, and also has experience with piano, keyboard, and drums, giving him a well-rounded musical background that helps students explore a variety of instruments and musical styles. Through performance-based music lessons at School of Rock Loveland, Erich helps students build strong musical fundamentals while developing confidence and stage presence.
In addition to music, Erich has several years of experience teaching and mentoring students through after-school extracurricular programs, including coaching a youth hockey team. His background working with young people helps him create a positive, supportive learning environment for students at every stage of their musical journey.
Outside the classroom, Erich is an active performer in the Northern Colorado music scene. When he’s not teaching music lessons in Loveland, you can find him performing with several local bands, including Scuffed, Feed Lot, Robot Tennis Club, and All My Senses.

Paisley Leeper
Vocal Teacher
Paisley Leeper is a vocals, keyboard + piano, and bass teacher at School of Rock Loveland, teaching music lessons in Loveland, Colorado for students of all ages and skill levels. Paisley first discovered her love of music at a young age, inspired by her dad’s collection of grunge CDs, and that passion truly took off when she first walked through the doors of School of Rock as a student.
As a School of Rock alum, Paisley experienced firsthand the power of performance-based music education, developing her skills on stage and building a lifelong connection to performing. Now as an instructor at School of Rock Loveland, she is passionate about creating that same transformative experience for the next generation of young musicians.
Paisley performs regularly across Colorado with her R&B band Fiamore and is currently pursuing a degree in Recording Arts, deepening her knowledge of music production, songwriting, and performance.
In her singing, piano, and bass lessons in Loveland, Paisley focuses on helping students build confidence while discovering their own unique musical voice. She believes music is about more than just technique—it’s also about self-expression, creativity, and connection.

Anthony Welch
Drum Teacher
Anthony is a drum teacher at School of Rock Loveland, teaching drum lessons in Loveland, Colorado for students of all ages and skill levels. His destiny as a drummer started early—when he strapped an oatmeal container around his neck and used Lincoln Logs as drumsticks. When he was 12 years old, his parents bought him his first drum kit, and he’s been rocking ever since.
Anthony has been actively performing in bands for more than 27 years, building his chops primarily in metal and hard rock while playing a wide variety of styles along the way. Earlier in his career, he was part of Colorado Springs’ award-winning cover band 40oz. Freedom Fighters, gaining extensive live performance experience.
Today, Anthony continues to stay active in the Colorado music scene. He currently drums for the Colorado Springs thrash metal band Planetary 27 and the groove/death metal band Red Gremlin, while also fronting his own solo project, The Dub Project. In Northern Colorado, he performs with the Judas Priest tribute band
The Fold and the Beastie Boys tribute band Sabotage, bringing decades of real-world performance experience into every lesson.

Eli S. Johnson
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Eli Johnson is a guitar teacher at School of Rock Loveland, teaching guitar and music lessons in Loveland, Colorado for students of all ages and skill levels. Based in Fort Collins, Eli has been playing guitar for more than 15 years and brings extensive performance experience from the ska and punk music scenes across Denver and Northern Colorado.
Eli earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Colorado State University, where he developed a strong foundation in musicianship while gaining experience across multiple musical genres. His background in both performance and formal music education helps him guide students as they build strong technique, musical creativity, and confidence on stage.
Through performance-based music lessons at School of Rock Loveland, Eli works with students to develop their guitar skills while helping them experience the excitement of playing in a real band and performing live. His experience performing in the Northern Colorado music scene allows him to bring real-world insight into every lesson.

Mike Shamrock
Music Director, Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Michael “Shamrock” Robertson Jr. is a guitar and bass guitar teacher at School of Rock Loveland, teaching music lessons in Loveland, Colorado for students of all ages and skill levels. Born into a military family, Mike grew up moving across the country before eventually settling in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he became deeply involved in the Northern Colorado music scene.
Mike’s earliest musical memories include singing along to Billy Idol’s “Mony Mony,” watching Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker, and hearing family members play “Hotel California” at backyard gatherings. Inspired by artists like Rage Against the Machine, Tool, and Jane’s Addiction, he began playing guitar at age 13 and quickly added bass guitar to his musical skill set.
Over the years, Mike has earned a reputation as a highly skilled guitarist and songwriter. In 2009, he was recognized as Best Guitarist and Songwriter by KRFC’s Night Howler JJ Johnson. He has performed in numerous well-known Colorado bands, including 20XIII, AutoFate, Pretty Noise, Guerrilla Radio (Rage Against the Machine tribute), Sonic Temple (The Cult tribute), and Sabotage (Beastie Boys tribute). His work across both original and tribute bands highlights his versatility and dedication to his craft.
Mike remains deeply active as a musician, performing with multiple projects while continuing to write, record, and refine his technique, including promoting his album “Not I! Said the lil’ mouse.”
At School of Rock Loveland, Mike loves sharing his passion for music through guitar and bass guitar lessons in Loveland and Northern Colorado, helping students develop strong musicianship, creativity, and confidence through performance-based music education and live band experiences. Michael Millan

Michael is a keyboard + piano, and vocal teacher at School of Rock Loveland, teaching music lessons in Loveland, Colorado for students of all ages and skill levels. Based in the Northern Colorado music community, Michael brings extensive performance and academic experience to his lessons.
Michael graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Piano Performance and has been an active musician since his freshman year of college. During his studies, he had the opportunity to learn from respected Northern Colorado musicians including Dana Landry, Tom Amend, and Annie Booth, and studied voice with Jenna McLean.
Having started classical piano at age five, Michael has developed a broad musical background spanning many genres. He has performed with big bands, modern jazz ensembles, salsa bands, musical theatre pit orchestras, and singer-songwriters, giving him a versatile perspective that helps students explore many styles of music.
Through performance-based music lessons at School of Rock Loveland, Michael helps students develop strong fundamentals in piano, keyboard, and vocal performance while building confidence through live band experiences.
Michael is excited to be part of the School of Rock Loveland community, where he enjoys helping students grow as musicians and guiding the next generation of performers in Loveland and Northern Colorado on their musical journey.
Kota Martinez

Dakota “Kota” Martinez is a vocal and guitar teacher at School of Rock Loveland, teaching music lessons in Loveland, Colorado for students of all ages and skill levels. Kota has dreamed of being a rock star since childhood, when they would perform for family with a mini pink guitar and a full dose of stage energy.
Their musical journey expanded in sixth grade when they began studying classical music, learning instruments such as tuba, French horn, and cello. Soon after, Kota discovered their singing voice, which ultimately led them to become a student at School of Rock. Through the school’s performance-based music education programs, Kota found a place to grow as a musician and performer.
Although shy at first, Kota quickly blossomed through live performances and band experiences, eventually earning the opportunity to audition for and perform in the School of Rock House Band. Those experiences helped build the confidence and passion for music that now drives Kota’s teaching.
At School of Rock Loveland, Kota loves helping students discover their own musical voice through singing lessons, guitar lessons, and live band programs in Loveland and Northern Colorado. They are passionate about creating a supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop their skills, and experience the joy of performing live.

Matt Wright
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Vocal Teacher
Matt Wright is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer who teaches music lessons at School of Rock Loveland in Loveland, Colorado. Based in nearby Fort Collins, Matt works with students of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop strong musicianship, creativity, and confidence through performance-based music education.
Matt has been performing professionally since childhood and is widely known for his longtime work as keyboardist, co-vocalist, and composer for the nationally recognized funk and soul band Euforquestra. Over the course of his career, he has performed more than 1,000 live shows across the United States and internationally, including performances in the Caribbean and Central Africa.
He holds a degree in Professional Music, with a strong academic focus on music theory, harmony, and performance, giving him a deep understanding of both the technical and creative sides of music.
As an educator, Matt has adjudicated music festivals and taught private students across a wide range of styles and genres, helping musicians develop both their technical ability and artistic voice. At School of Rock Loveland, he enjoys sharing his experience through piano, keyboard, and music lessons in Loveland and Northern Colorado, helping students grow as performers while discovering their own unique musical path.
Trevor Smith
Drum Teacher
Trevor is a drum teacher at School of Rock Loveland, teaching drum lessons in Loveland, Colorado for students of all ages and skill levels. Originally from Southern California, Trevor has been playing drums for more than 15 years and has performed in bands across a wide range of musical genres and styles.
Trevor began learning drums through music schools, including several School of Rock locations in the Los Angeles area, where he developed the performance skills and musical foundation that helped launch his professional career as a touring and studio drummer.
Most recently, Trevor has been performing with the band Sitting on Stacy, completing seven North American tours and sharing the stage with major artists including the Jonas Brothers, 311, and Sublime. His touring experience allows him to bring real-world insight into every lesson, helping students understand what it takes to perform and play music at a professional level.
When he is not touring or recording, Trevor lives in Northern Colorado and enjoys helping young musicians grow through performance-based music lessons at School of Rock Loveland. He loves working with drummers of all levels, helping students learn new songs, build strong technique, and develop the confidence to perform live.

Robby Terry
Drum Teacher
Robby “Rob” Terry is a drum teacher at School of Rock Loveland, teaching drum lessons in Loveland, Colorado for students of all ages and skill levels. A self-described “Texas dweeb,” Robby brings more than 13 years of drumming experience and a love of rock and metal to the School of Rock Loveland music community.
Robby originally started playing drums with the goal of trying to outplay his dad, but quickly realized that keeping up with him would be a lifelong challenge. His passion for drumming continued to grow throughout high school, where one of his favorite memories was convincing his principal to excuse him from a third year of Spanish so he could tutor the school drumline instead.
A big fan of nu metal and progressive rock, Robby draws inspiration from legendary drummers like Danny Carey of Tool, whose technical precision and creativity continue to influence his playing style.
At School of Rock Loveland, Robby loves helping students discover the excitement of playing drums through performance-based music lessons and band programs in Loveland and Northern Colorado. He enjoys working with drummers of all levels, helping them build strong rhythm, technique, and the confidence to perform live on stage.
