This week long camp highlights one of if not the more influential grunge bands, Nirvana! This camp is a solid show for all levels of playing and is packed with crowd-pleasing '90s anthems!
ABOUT THIS CAMP
Celebrate the raw energy and spirit of Nirvana in this music camp dedicated to one of the most influential bands of the 90s! Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing Nirvana’s iconic songs, all culminating in a live performance. Perfect for students ages 7–18 who have had some previous instruction.Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday through Friday 9:30am - 3:00pm each day
- Drop off is no earlier than 9:00am each day
- Pick up is no later than 3:30pm each day
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games/activities
FRIDAY PERFORMANCE
On Friday, campers will put on a show for family and friends by performing the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week. The show will take place at Scottish Daves in Clinton, or Donahues in Madison and will start promptly at 3:30pm. Parents will pick up students on Friday at 2:30 to bring over to the venue by 3pm. Parents, guardians, peers, friends, and fans are all welcome!
RAMP UP TO CAMP PROGRAM
- Learn the basics of your instrument or strengthen specific skills
- Get familiar with some of the camp songs
- Gain confidence before joining their band for the week.
- It’s the perfect warm-up for newer musicians or tune up for more experienced players — helping campers hit the ground running on day one!
- These sessions are customized to the camper's needs. Many campers will participate in this optional program a month prior to camp.

PARKING/DROP OFF
We are located on Boston Rd in Madison, a few doors over from Scranton Library. We have a long driveway that you can drive down, park and bring your child inside to sign them in and out each day for camp. There is also convenient street parking (on a non busy road) directly across the street from the school!
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations up to 30 days prior to the start of camp will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are provided for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the start of camp. In the event that School of Rock must cancel a camp for any reason (such as not enough campers), a full refund will be provided.
