In this music camp, 6 to 7-year-old beginners will learn about different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and appreciation.
Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns and group playing are all part of this week-long introduction to music. In this music camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation. This camp is designed for 6 to 7-year-old students who have little to no experience with music. This four-day camp runs Monday through Thursday with a performance at the end of the last day.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Thursday, 10 am - 2 pm each day
- Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time, and fun music-based games and activities
- On Thursday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
WHAT TO BRING
- Campers must bring their own (NUT-FREE) lunch, snacks, and a water bottle labeled with their name each day.
- Instruments are provided!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.. After registering for camp, please read our welcome letter and sign the required waivers on the School of Rock client portal - Pike13, which you can access from your confirmation email. You must check in and sign out your child each day, and please bring a valid form of ID with you.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A full refund will be offered for camps cancelled 60 days prior to the first day of camp. A 50% refund or 100% account credit will be offered on cancelled camps between 15 and 60 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.
