In this music camp, students will study and perform material made famous by Pop Legends such as Aretha Franklin, Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, and many more.
Description
Throughout Rock and Roll history, some of the best performers were also the most popular of their time. These early Pop Legends such as Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross and Dusty Springfield paved the way for modern icons such as Madonna, Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift. While this music camp features mostly female artists, we also feature some of their male counterparts such as Michael Jackson and Prince. After rehearsing for five days, the campers will take the stage on the final camp day. This is a great camp for instrumentalists and vocalists 7-18 years of age with some prior experience preferred.
Weekly Schedule
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day
- Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
- On Friday, campers will play perform the songs they've been working on throughout the week!
What to Expect
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snack, water and hearing protection.
At School of Rock Medford, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks.
Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be offered on canceled camps up to 90 days prior to the camp start date. A 50% refund will be offered on canceled camps up to 30 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations under 30 days prior to camp start dates are not eligible for a refund.
