Marcus
Vocal Teacher
From high school theater stages to rock and roll tours, Marcus has always found a way to perform. After graduation, he chased his passion for both screen and stage—but it was music that truly called him. Whether writing original songs, recording in the studio, or performing across the country, Marcus has developed a deep love and understanding of the voice as an instrument.
With experience singing everything from musical theatre staples, metal standards, and everything in between, Marcus brings a wide range of vocal styles and techniques to his teaching. His focus is on helping students build vocal power, expand their range, and most importantly, find and develop their unique voice.
At School of Rock Meridian, Marcus also believes singing is only part of the performance—confidence and stage presence matter too. His lessons are designed not just to train his students' voice, but to prepare them to own the stage.
At home, Marcus and his wife, whom he met doing musical theater, keep the music alive by coaching their five kids into becoming the best singers they can be.
