Congratulations to our 2022 Allstars!

Congratulations to our 2022 Allstars; Jupiter, Billy, and Ryan!!

The Allstars program is incredibly competitive and is considered to be the highest level of achievement for a School of Rock student. Less than 1% of students worldwide are chosen each year, and each of the selected participants proved that they demonstrate an unparalleled level of excellence in musicianship, performance, and leadership!

We are so proud of these hard working students!

New Instructor Spotlight!

Matthew Bade

Matthew has dedicated his life to the arts. Formally trained as a painter (University of  Illinois at Chicago and American Academy of Art College), his drumming passion always kept  pace with his visual studies. Having discovered both disciplines in grade school, the  holistic benefits of nurturing craft became evident early. More recently, Matthew found a  dormant counselor within and lent his life experience to at-risk youth and young adults as  a guide in the field of Wilderness and Adventure therapy, nationally and abroad. Now his  efforts seek to combine previous ventures—as a drum teacher at School of Rock, with a  focus on ergonomics/posture, groove, the drummer’s role as peacekeeper, and of course:  fun.

Matthew is also a five-time marathon runner, longtime rock climber, and daily yoga  practitioner who cannot stress enough the importance of physical health as it relates to drumming.
