Casey Anderson

Casey Anderson is the music director at School of Rock Naples and a dedicated educator with over 15 years of experience teaching music and coaching bands. He began as a substitute instructor at a different School of Rock and worked his way up to lead show director, studio coordinator, and eventually music director.
A multi-instrumentalist and seasoned performer, Casey has shared the stage with iconic bands like Foreigner, The Toadies, and Drowning Pool. Known for his engaging teaching style, he inspires students to develop their skills, explore their creativity, and build a lifelong passion for music.
Sara Melton
Co-Owner, Vocal Teacher
Sara Melton, co-owner of School of Rock Naples, is a seasoned musician and business leader who has led successful bands since her twenties. Known for her expertise in social strategy, song selection, and venue collaboration, Sara brings both business acumen and vibrant energy to the stage. By day a corporate executive and by night a dynamic performer, she’s passionate about teaching young musicians the essentials of vocals, stage presence, and audience connection. With a commitment to inspiring confidence through performance, Sara fosters a supportive environment where students learn to embrace their creativity and command the stage.
Matt McMahon
Drum Teacher
Matt McMahon is a dedicated drum teacherr and lead director for Rock 101, Adult Band, and Performance Group at School of Rock Naples. His musical journey began in the fourth grade, first on trumpet and later on drums, participating in marching, jazz, and concert bands throughout high school. He went on to study music at Franklin Pierce University, earning an English degree with a minor in music. With over 25 years of experience as a middle school English teacher, Matt is also an active drummer in the local band Avya, performing across Southwest Florida.
Matt’s dual passions for teaching and music come alive at School of Rock Naples, where he helps students develop their skills, dedication, and joy for performing, fostering confidence that shines on stage.
Kobyn Melton
Drum Teacher, Vocal Teacher, Assistant Show Director
Kobyn Melton is an accomplished drummer and Season 23 Golden Ticket Winner on American Idol. Known for his powerful metal drumming and mastery of the "metal growl" vocal technique, he brings a dynamic presence to both the stage and the classroom. Currently pursuing a degree in business at FSW, Kobyn also specializes in mixing, mastering, and live audio/PA setup, making him an exceptional mentor for students interested in both performance and sound engineering. His passion for music drives him to help students unlock their potential, and he finds immense joy in watching them grow as musicians. With his dedication to fostering young talent, Kobyn inspires students at School of Rock Naples to develop their unique musical voices, whether on stage or behind the scenes.
Dorian Méndez
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Drum Teacher, Assistant Show Director
Dorian Méndez is an experienced multi-instrumentalist and music instructor with a diverse music education and performance background. Originally from Argentina, Dorian has studied jazz, orchestration, and music production at Georgia State University, Chico State University, and EMC (Berklee Network) in Buenos Aires. His professional career includes collaborations with prominent artists and international tours, working as a producer, arranger, and session musician.
Dorian is passionate about teaching at School of Rock Naples and dedicated to helping young musicians develop their skills and confidence, inspiring them to embrace their unique musical voices on stage and beyond.
John Zieser
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Assistant Show Director
John Zieser is a versatile guitarist inspired by legends like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Black Sabbath. He studied jazz guitar under John Albaugh, a former instructor at the Guitar Institute of Technology, and performed professionally while still in high school. John continued his education at Arizona State University, where he learned audio engineering and began teaching guitar.
After moving to Des Moines, IA, he became one of the original instructors at the West Des Moines Guitar Center and performed at major events like the Riverview Music Festival and 80/35 Music Festival. With over 20 years of musical experience, John brings his diverse background and passion for teaching to School of Rock Naples, inspiring students to explore their creativity and reach their full potential.
Angel Morales
Drum Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Vocal Teacher, Rock 101 Director, Assistant Show Director
Luis Morales is a talented multi-instrumentalist and passionate educator with 17 years of experience on piano and over six years of proficiency in drums, guitar, and bass. Trained at Berklee Online and Stryke Percussion, Luis has taught at award-winning high schools across South Florida, specializing in percussion and music performance. His extensive touring experience as a pianist across the United States has shaped his expressive, dynamic style.
At School of Rock Naples, Luis is recognized as one of the most proficient drum instructors, and his skills extend beyond the drum kit. He will also be assisting in directing Rock 101, Performance Program shows, and summer camps. With a teaching approach that balances technical precision with creative exploration, Luis inspires students to develop their skills and express themselves freely through music.
Brittany Williams
Vocal Teacher
Brittany Williams is a classically trained vocalist with over 15 years of formal training and nearly 20 years of performance experience worldwide. Her career spans leading roles in renowned musicals on Broadway National Tours, international tours, and London’s West End, as well as captivating audiences aboard luxury cruise ships. Known for her powerful voice and dynamic stage presence, Brittany has left lasting impressions on stages across the globe.
Passionate about nurturing the next generation of performers, Brittany loves helping children develop their vocal technique and confidence on stage. With a teaching style rooted in both discipline and creativity, she guides students at School of Rock Naples to discover their fullest potential as singers and performers.

Mike Wassef
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Vocal Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Drum Teacher, Camp Director
School of Rock Naples teacher Mike Wassef is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Naples, Florida, best known as the founder and frontman of the rock band Later Days. Since forming the band in 2001, Wassef has led the project through national touring, high-energy live performances, and critically recognized releases. The band has recorded with producers Jim Wirt (Incubus) and Steve Evetts (New Found Glory, The Wonder Years), achieved national distribution through Hot Topic, received coverage from Alternative Press, and secured television placements on VH1 (Saddle Ranch), E! (Keeping Up With the Kardashians), and Oxygen (Bad Girls Club).
As the band’s primary songwriter and creative lead, Wassef also launched Later Days Decisions, a music-driven outreach initiative that combines live performance with positive messaging and motivational assemblies. He has brought this program to middle and high schools across Florida, reflecting his belief in music as a powerful tool for connection and impact.
Sophie Soares
Vocal Teacher, Guitar Teacher
Sophie Michelle’s love for music flourished at the age of ten. She began by singing songs online for fun before eventually pursuing professional vocal training. Her musical background is rooted in opera, which gave her a strong foundation and the versatility to perform many styles of music she loves. Inspired by artists such as Mariah Carey, Sade, and Whitney Houston, Sophie enjoys performing genres including rock, R&B, jazz, and ’80s new wave.
Sophie has had the opportunity to work alongside Columbia Records and Radio Disney. Through music, Sophie found a true sense of self-expression and connection. As both a performer and a listener, singing continues to be one of the most meaningful parts of her life, and she is grateful to share that passion with others, like students at School of Rock Naples, through her musical journey.
Andy Romero
Bass Guitar Teacher, Guitar Teacher
Andy is a bassist, guitarist, and vocalist with over ten years of experience, beginning in the concert band at Golden Gate Middle School. He earned straight superior ratings at multiple competitions while performing in both the marching and concert bands with the Titan Band at Golden Gate High School.
Inspired by Latin rock and psychedelic blues rock, Andy has performed with several bands, including Mingo Drive, Donefor, the Katie Dietz Trio, and currently the Latin psych jazz band Caladium.
While he learned to read music in school, Andy has always had a deep, intuitive connection to feel and rhythm. He approaches music with a sense of fun and curiosity, striving to share that energy with others, whether they are seasoned musicians or just beginning their journey at School of Rock Naples.
Above all, Andy believes that when you let the music sing through you, you’ll always have fun.
Nico Torres
Little Wing Director, Rookies Director, Guitar Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Nico is a passionate musician who grew up in a Colombian household filled with salsa, instruments, and music. Her love for music started at a young age, beginning with piano lessons at age seven. She later began singing at her church, performing in youth programs and developing her confidence as a vocalist.
At 17, Nico received her first acoustic guitar and taught herself how to play. By the age of 20, she had released her first single, followed by an EP. Eager to be part of a stronger music scene in Naples, Nico began organizing her own shows to showcase local artists.
She is currently a member of an all-femme Latin punk band with her closest friends. Nico is excited to bring her passion to School of Rock Naples and share the gift of music with her students.
Jay Truelove
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Drum Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Vocal Teacher, Show Director
Jay Truelove, M.A., is a musician, artist, and teacher. Jay’s musical background includes clarinet, piano, marching drumline, orchestral percussion, and college-level guitar and music fundamentals.
His Chicago-based band, The Jacobson Organ, has performed from coast to coast and released five studio albums. Jay’s acoustic duo, The Shybillies, features classic rock harmonies alongside Tim Politte, who is also the drummer for Younger Than Yesterday, a band that includes former members of Crazy Horse and The Byrds.
Jay has also enjoyed working with several well-known artists, including Collective Soul, Testament, and Megadeth, through Vision4Films.
In addition to his music career, Jay is a retired elementary school teacher with 30 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has encouraged students to embrace their unique potential and talents. Now, he’s excited to help inspire the next generation of rockers at the School of Rock Naples.
Kaitlan Osterdorf
Drum Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Kaitlan is a passionate musician who began her musical journey at age ten with private piano lessons while being homeschooled. In seventh grade, she transitioned to a small charter school, where she had the unique opportunity to explore multiple instruments, including alto and tenor saxophone, clarinet, guitar, and, of course, piano. By eleventh grade, she was given the opportunity to share her love of music by teaching beginner sixth-grade band students.
Kaitlan later received a music scholarship to join the marching band at Ave Maria University, where she expanded her skill set by learning baritone saxophone and percussion. Teaching young musicians is one of her greatest passions. She loves helping kids and adults discover their confidence, creativity, and joy through music, while supporting them as they grow both as musicians and individuals at School of Rock Naples.
Martin Faieta
Studio Coordinator
Martin Faieta grew up around music from the day he was born. With an Italian father who loved to sing and play guitar. At the age of six, he was placed in a music school back home in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. He was part of the choir and started playing guitar at nine, which he still is passionate about today.
Martin had his own business back home and took care of all the operations and administrative work. He has volunteered at the Golisano Children's Museum and Grace Place in Naples as well.
His next endeavor is improving his multi-instrumental skills and going back to school for music production to learn more theory and technique. He is extremely excited to connect people with the beauty of music and developing their creativity working at School of Rock Naples!
