DESCRIPTION

Green Day was one of the most popular and influential bands of the 90s and early 2000s. Their fun, high-energy music helped bring punk into the mainstream. Throughout this 5-day music session, we’ll explore hits from some of their most popular albums, such as “Dookie,” “Warning,” “Insomniac,” “American Idiot” and beyond. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 12-17 years of age who have had some previous instruction.

Please note: We do ask for this session that participants have some experience in their instrument and have some fundamentals down so that we can ensure that the week is fun for everyone!

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

• Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day
• Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based game & activities
• On Friday, students will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water and hearing protection (hearing protection will also be available at school).
