DESCRIPTION
Want to play in a band onstage? Our Rock 101 program is designed for beginners 8-12 years of age. No experience necessary! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities. Students will learn songs by artists such as the White Stripes, Green Day and Imagine Dragons. Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect program for budding musicians. Students will work on songs Monday through Friday and the session will culminate in a musical performance at the end of the week for family and friends.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based game & activities
- Friday afternoon, students will perform the songs they learned throughout the week
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water and hearing protection (hearing protection will also be available at school).
