New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation Announces Lineup of Fall Events

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation is closing out 2025 with a slate of concerts and festivals celebrating the city’s music, food, and culture.

Havana Night: Celebrating Afro-Cuban Latin Jazz
On Friday, September 26, Cuban-born percussionist, composer, and bandleader Alexey Marti will lead a powerhouse ensemble at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center (1225 N. Rampart Street). The band features Jose Colon on bass, Julian Addison on drums, Oscar Rossignoli on piano, David Navarro on trumpet, and Scott Johnson on saxophone.

Doors: 7 p.m. | Showtime: 8 p.m.
Tickets: Sold out. Fans can tune in via livestream at jazzandheritage.org/live.


2025 Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival
From Friday, October 10 through Sunday, October 12, Lafayette Square Park (602 Camp Street) will host one of the city’s signature free festivals. The weekend will feature two stages of live music, including performances by The Devon Allman Project, Larry McCray, Jimmy Hall, Sierra Green, Tab Benoit, Bobby Rush, and more. In addition to world-class blues, festivalgoers can enjoy Louisiana barbecue, local crafts, and family-friendly activities.

Hours: Friday 5:30–8:30 p.m. | Saturday & Sunday 11 a.m.–8:30 p.m.
Tickets: Free | VIP Passes: Limited availability, offering premium seating, hospitality lounge access, food and drinks, and festival swag.

Tremé Creole Gumbo Festival
The annual Tremé Creole Gumbo Festival returns Saturday, November 8 and Sunday, November 9 at Louis Armstrong Park (701 N. Rampart Street). The event highlights the neighborhood’s rich cultural traditions with live performances, local artisans, children’s activities, and of course, a wide variety of gumbo.

Hours: 11 a.m.–8 p.m. both days
